Any new idea for the next poll?

Yeah, screw the poll and put in Nova. lmao you know you're going to anyways.
I'm actually using ADW ex, its even FASTER than nova. Anderweb has FINALLY started updating his launcher again and its freaking sweet and wayyyy customizable. But nova is where it's at in 2nd place. but it's my first vote in Flick.
I think you should rename flick to "Supa Flick" since it's just getting better and better at this point...lmao
Actually every "numercal" release should have a "something" flick. like for 5 - Supa Flick, 6 - Mega Flick, and so on and so fourth. lmao, more audibly apetizing to others when we're talking about it. haha or like Sticky Flick or something, hahaha kinda give it that Android Op name on your own brain child.

Haha nope, I'm sticking with Nova, when it's zip aligned, Loppy Smoothness Tweaked, locked in memory, and made a system app it's butter smooth lol

I've thought about a total rebrand of the ROM because I think the name is bad lol

I've thought about instead of having 1.0.0 - 5.0.0 just having build 1- to probably what is now build 100. It more accurately depicts the work into every released build.

Nova is the same thing as Apex but slightly more customizable and I think the menus are a little less awkward.

Apex is bound to be smoother if you run it on this ROM, I make sure it's zip aligned and I loppy smoothness tweak it. So try not to take that into account when you try it lol

This rom will not work for your phone, all of the ICS roms here are based off Blur_Version.6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US or higher that's why it requires a sim card from Verizon.

Whoops,I may have found one of those bugs that nobody else cares about...
I tried to record video to send via MMS, which has to be QVGA, and the razri camera chokes when you finish recording! Every other resolution works fine, but the files are too big. Ucam has no problem with QVGA, but it's a pain for that occasional video to share with non-smartphone family members.
I had to look hard enough to find a bug this time! Anxiously looking forward to 5.0.0 or 100 or Flick Prime, or whatever it's going to be.

I actually reported what is probably the same bug after release of 4.0. I noticed that the camera app worked fine as a stand-alone app, but did just what you saw if the camera app is called from another app. I only checked this with the still camera option, but video and still features are provided by the same app, so it makes sense that videos will also trigger the bug.

Byte was able to duplicate the issue and said he would address it in the next (4.8.0) release. However, rather than wait, I downloaded the Camera Zoom FX app from the Play Store and found that it did not show this FC bug which the default camera used in Flick does. It also has features I like better that the stock camera so I have stuck with it. Therefore, I never noticed whether Byte got around to attempting a fix in 4.8.0. Sounds like probably not.

Maybe the Razri camera just doesn't like AOSP messaging. IDK, I'll look at other cameras.

I just rechecked the app that first highlighted the problem for me - WhatsApp. If I choose the option within WhatsApp to take a picture for a new profile and select the default camera included in 4.8.0, it FCs the instant the shutter trips to take a photo. If I select the Camera Zoom FX app I also have installed, no problems.

Actually, if you use the included razri camera as stand-alone, and record video at QVGA, when you start recording the display freezes, then when you stop recording it closes with a "camera error" popup...
The problem has nothing to do with calling from another app.

Ok,I see that, too. So I guess we leave it up to Byte to figure out if this is a common issue or two separate camera problems.

I've replaced the razri camera with two other blurcamera implementations from other ROMs, and they do not have the same issue. However, they also do not work with this gallery properly; and my lord, I forgot how long it used to take the camera app to open!
Sure hope bytecode can make this work right without using a slower camera.

I'll probably just use a third party camera, just because it's easier and I almost never use the camera.

There are still just some little things I would like to do:

Take out the "noses" in the emoticons for the keyboard and then make Messaging recognize them the same way. Ever since I got an Android phone the nose things have bugged me lol

Suggestions for new features!!!!!!!!!! ANYTHING! Except customizable pulldown toggles, enabling the nav bar, and some other things lol

An opinion is an interesting thing, sadly some don't see it as such.

Edited to stop the confusion.

Dude if you want a perfect ROM then stay stock and stop bashing..... If you want a ROM with no issues build it yourself....So we all can complain to you...... We all deal with little inconsistencies that's why we crack flash but to complain is futile this guy breaks his butt on this ROM and for free so people like us who don't want to or can't dev can enjoy our devices......so why not just embrace the fact that he still does it unlike a lot and of other devs that move on or move to different forums.....and to top it he updates......when there is an issue .....he could just tell us all to move on and stop dev. I used to complain about little things but after 3 years on forums you Realize these guys can't be all things to all people. And don't get all upset that something is not functioning correctly..... Try uninstalling and reinstalling if ya have issues.....all due respect I am merely a proponent of Devs and the work they all do for us......no offense meant to you either

I haven't had any issues with this rom, it's smooth and everything works just fine. I'm also a dev and you really have no idea how much time and effort we put into our roms. We do it because we love it, we make things the way we want them and spend days testing them before releasing the finished product. You should be grateful that we do this for the masses and that we do it for free!
