I was just going through my day, minding my own business, when I went to lock the screen on my phone. I've already done it plenty of times today but for some reason the power button just doesn't wanna work any more. I don't understand why...I didn't drop it and rebooting doesn't work.

Any ideas?

double check the settings under Security and make sure thats still checked.

....otherwise I would think its HW....

sorry.....the phone does reboot (power and volume down keys) but other than that, nothing.

Well...I reset it again and it somehow started to work. That is so confusing. Thanks for the help though!

There was another one like this recently. Since the reboot works I would say it's not necessarily hdwr. This other person was fixed up by flashing the fxz. If you are rooted, you can install quickboot and use it to boot into Fastboot.

That's funny though.. I am in a bad area. I am always good about backing out and refreshing to see if my post went thru if I get a hang. I did so but it didn't show my post. These backwater networks are so slow....
