Definitely interested in this.  Looking for an option to stream video/audio for my son's television.  Purchased a Chromecast for him before I realized it doesn't work well with his Chromebook.  Video lags big time.  Have been thinking of using a RP instead

Please sign me up! I have an arduino Uno and I am currently building another uno and an atmega2560 from scratch. I would love to put some huge processing power behind it and add a GUI. My plan is to implement a home security system based on MCU's when my family moves in a couple months. This would be a great opportunity to share what I know and what I learn.

Count me in I'd really like to see if I could make it control a solar pool heater or a solar powered rain water distribution system.

I'd love to be included in the giveaway. A buddy and I have been talking about using Raspberry Pi as an affordable substitute for a PLC to automate a home brewery system.

It's like this post read my mind. I have been looking into getting a raspberry pi! I want to load XBMC and use it to stream local media to my dumb TV. I would be delighted if I won this! Please count me in! Thanks and good luck everyone.

What a great idea and brilliant way to build both a fan and developer base.  I'm interested in building an in-car info-tainment center using a 7" Touch screen LCD. Load the Pi up with KitKat, a custom car rom (perhaps I'll need to compile one!) BT to interface with my car's OBD and perhaps a backup camera.  With a Pi you can do almost anything!

Count me in!
