Hey,

 

I recently tried to flash my xt907 with cyanogenmod 11 without doing any really deep research before hand. Now I can't seem to flash my stock android back on my xt907 (preflash validation failure, etc.). I've tried RSD and using fastboot commands.

 

Anyone help?

 

I'll provide further info as requested.

I've been at it for hours and i continuously have been getting the same error that the preflash validation has failed. I'm losing hope here.

Yeah... we need quite a bit more info... ... what stock system version are/were you on...... what fxz did you try to flash.... locked/unlocked boot loader...

I was on 4.1.2 before all this happened.....My bootloader is locked.........and I tried to flash VZW_XT907_4.1.2-9.8.1Q-66_1FF.xml on my phone.  I'm not sure if that is what you're looking for.    The updated Droid Razr M utility also didn't work.

That should be the most recent fxz.

No... the most recent is 9.30.1 ..... (FYI... 4.1.2 is not the system version) Try using Sam's House of Moto ...

While I'm waiting....here's the fastboot and RSD errors, just in case it helps.

 

Fastboot:

 

downgraded security version

update gpt_main version failed

preflash validation failed for GPT

 

RSD:

 

Failed flashing process. 1/19 flash partition "gpt_main0.bin"-> Phone returned FAIL.

Yeah... the FXZ you were trying to use is "too old" for your phone .... meaning your phone has been updated and cannot be downgraded....

House of Moto keeps saying "system cannot find the path specified". Im fairly sure I configured it correctly.............did I?

It cant find any of the files when I run as administrator........i do have a windows 7 pc handy though.   Use that?

I can't get to my computer right now to double check your setup (so-to-speak) to make sure its right..... (matches mine) But it "appears" right at first glance Tapadriving.... hillbilly style!!!
