On DROID RAZR max hd.. currently running 9.20.1 and rooted , I tried to update to 9.30.1 and it fails. I made sure that all my frozen apps have been unfrozen and I used OTA rootkeeper and temp unrooted. Would anyone have a clue why it fails to update ?

Could be any number of reasons. Rather than messing around trying to get it to go, just use the House of Moto and the current FXZ and flash with a save data, then reroot with the new root method. If you don't know what the House of Moto is or half of what I said, just be sure to read up a couple times over before proceeding. That in itself saves unnecessary headaches.
