Umm guys I have to ask. What happened to @dhacker29 on twitter? He closed his account and seems pretty pissed off about something... Something tells me this is going to hinder our kexec dreams.

Alot of us developers speak. But with that said should we acquire information that wasnt publicly posted it wouldn't be right to release such information. Thar's just not how things are done.

He could be sleeping? Devs do that sometimes lol. I think there was some more immaturity going on and he had enough of it. I'm sure it won't affect his work maybe he just wants to get away from the Twitter tards for a while.

Understandable. There are allot of people interested in Kexec and you know how rumors get started. I don't see him abandoning all of the project at all. I just assumed someone close to him would put a word out to back off and let him do his thing.

droidpcguru, spot on observation;

now that the word got out, I've already come to appreciate what Kexec could do for the modding of our Razrs… & I'm not a programmer…

it would be a terrible shame if some less-than-desireable type(s) spoiled it for the rest of us who are genuinely & respectfully excited &

who would be tremendously appreciative of the work that went into this project & the greatly helpful benefits we'd appreciate all the time!

here's good thoughts going out to Team Kexec-for-Razr... to paraphrase Spock: 'the bad of the few, or the one (no good pesterer) should never be allowed to outweigh the appreciation & the benefit of the many'.

I'm not a programmer & I'm very excited - just based on the helpful input of those who help out here…

No question that the devs do so much for us & don't get the money that their work is worth; I'd like to think that they get a huge amount of satisfaction in return for the work they do. I support what I use whenever I can…

Props to Dhacker. Reading the forums and it sounds like he just got fed up with unappreciative n00bs.

I know there was mention on his twitter about being hounded by people for testing Kexec, that has to be annoying. Finally someone came right out and said, Dhacker doesn't use testers. Not to mention I'm sure those who wanted to be "testers" weren't actually interested in testing SHlT, I'm sure they just wanted to be the first ones to use Kexec before it went public. I doubt most were going to actually test anything, find bugs, and report their experience back to Dhacker for debugging. It's a bunch of grubs who just want to have the latest and greatest before everyone else. I hope this all blows over as we were all within grasp of finally having this device the way it was intended to be. I'm still keeping an eye on Hashcodes twitter to see if any development news comes down. I haven't given up hope.

People: Leave this guys ALONE! You know who you are. When they have Kexec rock solid and ready to drop. YOU WILL FIND OUT. It really doesn't matter if you have it up and running 15 minutes before the next guy. That's so lame. Sit down, shut up and wait. Before these guys even tried doing this project all you had was to sit around, sign petitions, spam Moto's twitter and wait for Moto to provide us with a go-around for the bootloader. And we all know how that progress was going.
