Being able to finally run a real version of CM10 is gonna be epic! I am drooling right now :)

This is what I'm excited for. I really hope these guys keep it up and bless us with a custom kernel'd CM10 with all the fixin's!

Yes this is great . Best thing to do is brush up on how kexec work's. Because A) it's going to involve a new recovery or B) It's gone to involve booting every time from the external or internal SD in recovery. This Hijackes the boot process to flash the kernel after the check is done by the BL.

Just asking for general info here: Have there been any proven improvements to the hotplug governor? I know how everyone thought smartass was just a great improvement, but its usually only used for single core qualcomms, yes? Hotplug mostly dominates dual core TI chips?

As far as I know there has been very little development with the custom kernel. We just got past the bootloader last night and you're asking about governors? Baby steps man. Baby steps.

My guess is no. Development is going forward, ie: jb, not gb

One question ...

How does this compare to the work on KEXEC by Eternity here?

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Was that just for EU Razrs, or something?

If I'm not mistaken the original idea and work was for the Milestone (euro D1) and it was never finished.
