Hey there, I was rooted and using the phone fine for a while, I have SafeStrap, Titanium Backup, Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper, etc.  Anyway I got restless and the Wifi tether for root app stopped working.  So I decided I was going to flash my first ROM.

I'm not sure exactly what I did (probably something stupid like install CM to the stock ROM slot).  But basically when I boot, the phone gets stuck at the screen where it's like a bright center with lightning bolts forever (longest I left it was for about 15 mins).  I tried wiping that partition but to no avail.

I do have a backup from a couple of weeks ago.

I'm now booted into CM on ROM Slot 1, so at least I have a phone, but no contacts or anything.  I initially tried the latest stable release of CM but it was a cluster.  I upgraded to the latest nightly release and it works better

But at this point I'm more interested in at least being able to boot into stock again somehow.

Any help?

Thanks,

j

I am in the same situation.. I cannot get stock rom to boot, and a while back i had actually overwrote the stock rom by mistake. I have not been able to find a way to restore it, or load any rom that will actually boot in the stock slot. I have safestrap 3.11. I have tried the utility and had no luck because I cannot get ADB to connect. What do you do if you can NOT get ADB to work on any computer, any OS? I have tried both linux and windows, multiple machines.. The utility requires you to have a successful ADB connection with your device.. Any luck for someone that can't get and ADB connection?
I have a connected with RSDlite in BP SBF Flash mode... but when I load the rom and click start, it tells me that the device cannot boot in fastboot mode and to do it manually. So I try to put it in AP Fastboot mode but it doesn't work.
Anyone have any suggestions ?

Thanks so much!

Power off, hold volume down, press power.  That will put you in AP Fastboot mode where you can then flash your FXZ with RSD.
