Had to disable DSP manager and fixed. Installed viper but didn't modify anything yet. DSP manager shouldn't affect earpiece... Right? :- Why not add Viper into the ROM instead of DSP Manager...? Save everyone the trip. Edit... So now after about 30 seconds my voice echoes and gets garbled in call... And i can't tell when someone starts talking unless i stop and wait for them... Any ideas? What did I screw up here? And this is with four bars full + LTE... Don't think it's network. Sent from my XT926 using Tapatalk

I plan on adding viper into the ROM haven't done it yet I have been working on getting ota connected to my Roms . I will get out an update for the speaker issues sorry bout that

Yeah it was really strange. I re enabled DSP but left everything off and it seems to have stopped. I can't pinpoint what was causing the issues. The volume or the on call echo/noise. Also the nav still doesn't come up when waking from active display if the phone is not locked. And I couldn't figure out the issue with the far right dock item. May just try different launcher, but I like the stock one just fine.

Sweet. Anyone having severe GPS issues? Comes and goes. Sometimes 5 seconds to fix. Sometimes 10 minutes... Same area, same Sats, clear sky...

Got it: Found this was the only thing that fixed after searching all day today, all the apps to Download an such didn't do squat. I guess all the data from google gets turned to putty or something when switching between ROMs etc... and allowing it to update all your google account stuff. First time I encountered it was after the last two updates GPS went sketchy... and I use Device Only setting, no WiFi BS. So if you're having issues with your GPS after updating from ZIP:

1. Turn off “Access my location” in Location Access Setting

2. go into google services framework in applications, settings, and clear data

3. Clear data for maps as well

4. reboot the phone

5. Turn on “Access my location” in Location Access Settings

 

Lock fix in 4 sec inside house with 8+2 Sat. 

 

Thanks for the update too, this thing is still kicking almost non stop with no FCs or random reboots. Switched to HoloLauncher will see how that goes with the other two issues I was having. Thanks again!

I dont kno what i did...a few updates ago youtube stopped working (carbon and gummy too) even restoring backups where it had worked...didnt help. I went back to stock 4.1.2 now and it works? This ROM is solid. I'm sad that the newest version of Netflix fc's because I use it with chromecast.

I'm guessing SEandroid locked down everything but primary storage? For instance if I am using dolphin browser to download a file I can only use sdcard0. Both sdcard1 and the usb disk (if I have one plugged in) display insufficient permissions as a download location.

Is this something you could change/fix? Another thought I had was going into root explorer and giving both of them full permissions but I'm afraid that might do more harm than good, and would it stick on reboot, or each time I plug in a flash drive?

The older version of Netflix does work but is not chromecast compatible.

I would try wiping system, cache, dalvik then flash update and reflash gapps..... let me know

is anyone having wakelock issues. my phone refuses to go into deep sleep on stock and arrgggh's kernel. i can't figure it out. so much seems to have changed with running services from 4.3 like apps requiring a notification or they are turned off and whatnot.
