Because of the way su is built into settings it always tells you to update but since its built into the ROM in a different way it screws something up. I never update because the same thing happened to me. Just don't try to update and you should be fineHi, Installed as instructed and all seemed great. I started restoring my old apps with Titatinium Backup (latest version) and it indicated I needed to change to Supersu. After I downloaded supersu from the app store, I lost root (had it after initial install and before supersu). Any ideas, luckily I made a nandroid backup before I started and just rolled back to that. For what it's worth, sms hangouts were working for me before supersu install, I got several messages while using Titanium. Rom seems very smooth and I'd like to try it again, any suggestions on what to do if I lose root again? Thanks!

Quick question, been running the rom all day, very smooth and loaded with great features. The only thing is I only have one signal bar and I usually have atleast 3 at home. I checked signal strength and it show -108dbm in the status screen. Is there an alternative radio or a break in period, a setting that can be tweaked to increase reception? I am on Verizon's network.
Thanks!
To be honest I've had some weird data issues. What I've done to solve them is toggle data modes in settings and then wiped cache in recovery

Just flash a SuperSU.zip in recovery and you shouldn't have an issue.

I updated with the latest build - by using a restored version to update upon - and Netflix would not work, dolphin closing. Cleared caches, etc, rebooted, etc. No go. Anyone else seeing some stuff not working?
I dropped back to Carbon KK and netflix works fine and no other closing issues.
Should I try a clean install? Other thoughts?
EDIT: Did a clean install - Netflix still does not work. Reloaded Carbon KK, works fine.

Its always a good idea to do a clean install if you run into bugs.
Quite a few devs will actually get irritated when bugs are reported without a clean install because you don't know what caused the bug, the rom itself or the dirty install. Just another friendly heads up

No worries - my first attempt to be clear, was "clean" in that I wiped all, then restored an earlier version - THEN updated with the new version. I think that is an accepted method, since the orig was a CLEAN install.
Anyhow - The new REALLY clean install didn't work either on Netflix (not sure if you read that part).
