RAZR m, xt926, etc. Motos with the same msm8960 cpu from what I understand it's not specific to one device. "unified"

Seems like I got it off xda in one of the threads explaining how to get it on the phone the first time. Though I'd think you could just go to TWRP's website and get it there... not sure

I still have the program and the recovery image if you want I guess but probably best get it from a more trusted source. The program is in a folder named "unlocked_root_1.7" if that helps...

Now from what I understand the 2.7.1 is compatible with the KitKat bootloader, which I do not have and will not update to considering it has been problematic for many. Any idea if it works with the JB bootloader as well? Not sure if I need to update, I just like having the newest version out

*THANKS FOR THIS ROM*

I've been running a homemade InfliktedHD/BlurryHD 4.1.x hybrid ROM for a looooong time now with no issues, but I'm itching to try a Stable KitKat ROM.

I need FULL functionality out of my XT926, and from what I've read, this ROM sounds like the winner :)

Any recommended/preferred 'most stable' build for XT926?

Or just go with the latest 'n greatest...

What's the good word on the 6-21-14 Build?

Changes?

PlayStore Issues resolved? (Downgrade to v4.6.17 still needed?)

*THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR WORK*

Wipe thoroughly and install newest 4.4.4 build. Works great! No issues for me.

Decided to give this ROM a shot after sticking with a 4.4.2 ROM for months. I wanted to try 4.4.4.

So far, so good. We'll see how well this ROM goes after a day of use.

Take that back.... Put GPS in device only and then back into high accuracy while in maps.....
The speakerphone is still super quiet

That new build is gonna take some time to work out the kinks. I'm still on the JB boot loader. I'm actually going to wait to upgrade to official KK BL.

This ROM is BEAST!

LOVE the stability, battery life, and the ridiculous amount of features!

This ROM should be named **BEASTSTALK**

XT926 TWRP2630 came from 4.1.x based ROM, complete Wipes, Clean install (never dirty flash)

Running the 6-21 build, using Kernel that came with it, pa_gapps-4.4.2-BlackedOut, APEX launcher

ISSUES:

-Sometimes the Buttons on the Dialer will not work when on a call. (#'s Mute Speakerphone ect.)

So far it's random, will work most of the time

-GMAIL that came with pa_gapps-4.4.2-BlackedOut did NOT work for me.

I just manually replaced it with another Gmail.apk of my choice...

-Sound is Quiet, but jacked everything up back to par with ViPER4Android_FX eXtra-loud setting.

-I initially had no Mobile Data, but started working after 2nd boot.

-GPS Issues at first.

Would initially start Navigation, but GPS Signal lost pretty quickly.

Disabling location/enabling location would prompt me to Agree to Location consent again, then GPS would work fine without even closing the app.

I had to repeat this process every time to use Navigation.

I applied 1st GPS Fix mentioned earlier in here, and it seemed to work:

*GPS FIX #1:*
1. Turn off “Access my location” in Location Access Setting
2. go into google services framework in applications, settings, and clear data
3. Clear data for maps as well
4. reboot the phone
5. Turn on “Access my location” in Location Access Settings

*GPS FIX #2: (if #1 doesn't work)

Put GPS in device only and then back into high accuracy while in maps.....

NOTE: After doing the GPS fix #1, I had no mobile data, but worked fine after another reboot.

When on a Call using a Wired headset with Microphone, the Micropohone Button on the Wired Headset will Hang up the Call when pressed. (using old white iProduct headphones with Mic)

That button would previously MUTE on the old 4.1.x based ROMs.

Is there any way to change that?

*UPDATE* 7-14 build now MUTEs :)
