Hi guys, I recently upgraded from (I'm guessing the version here) v249 to the latest v285 and this new version has a smaller UI. Is it just me or can anyone else confirm this?

Edit:
I was using 4.4.249-20140228 and upgraded to 4.4.285-20140504. I noticed that there are 8 285's with different dates. Tried 4.4.285-20140502, 4.4.285-20140501 and 4.4.285-20140430 with the same issue. Then I tried 4.4.285-20140424 and that one looks normal. Now my question is, 1) What's up with the small UI? 2) Why are there 8 v285's?

Idk about question 2 .... But all you have to do is change the DPI back to 320 in the settings to get back to normal size

V285 is just the version of the ROM but other small changes may have been made... The last four are the mmdd... So do with the most recent to include all changes... When a large update or change to the OS is made, not just tweaks, there will probably be a new version number. IDK what the exact differences are but I have a tendency to get backed up with updates so I jump to whatever is latest. Custom DPI will allow you to change the size of everything in relation to the screen. What DroidAddict said...

Been rocking the newest build over a week. Very solid. Never stayed on a ROM this long.

My ota isn't installing updates.... Anyone else having this issue? Not a big deal, I just do a fresh install every week or so but it'd be nice to not have to. Besides that this ROM is still the best for our xt926!

Just installed this ROM a couple days ago. Awesome ROM! This is my new daily driver. Although I do have a little issue with Bluetooth. When I'm connected to my car's bluetooth and listening to music and turn off the engine, my sound goes away completely on my phone until I toggle Bluetooth off and on.

Anyone else having this problem?

I use my phone with Bluetooth speakers and don't have any issues. Did this happen with previous ROMs? If not maybe it's your car?....

I am currently running Nexesque 4.1.2 with twrp 2.5 recovery. Do I need the 2.6.3 twrp or will 2.5 work. Is there anything else I need coming from a 4.2.1 ROM. Thanks

I believe you need a 2.6.x version. I remember having to upgrade. Flashify was suggested and worked great for an easy recovery upgrade.

Does this ROM come with the kernel or is that installed desperately. Sorry for the questions but IRS been several months since I flashed anything and I'd rather not read this whole thread.

It should be all inclusive. Just flash the zip and roll.

What is the easiest way to change the boot animation?  Is there an option in the settings menu?  I'm new to this ROM, but I've used others in the past that allowed the boot animation to be selected from a list in the settings.  I just can't seem to find anything.

Xposed (if installed and activated) and Flashify will do it from inside the OS...
