By following directions. You ignored what it says in step 2 of a 2 step install instruction...

Flash update.
Wasn't aware of OMAP or Snapdragon phone. Sorry.
Anyway.
Flash runs then: 'waiting on device'.
Tried different USB ports.
Tried different data cable.
Phone reads:
Battery OK
OK to program
Transfer mode
USB connected

Don't know. This thing is EXTREME prototype code. Meaning it may or may not work properly. I don't have the environment to debug it at the very moment as I've moved to a new laptop and haven't set up all my development stuff yet. However, it's pretty basic....it just simply uses the OMAP fastboot to flash the lines out of the XML file from the FXZ one at a time.

Thank you for your efforts... much appreciated.
Do you know of any other way that might work to unbrick this thing?
I've tried RSDLite with no success... see attached.
Thanks again for your effort.

WOA WOA WOA. You can't downgrade a phone like that! That makes a bad situation far worse. You need to use the LATEST Bionic FXZ in order to fix it.

Thank you.
Are you aware of a 'how to' or tutorial?
Also, what is the latest Bionic FXZ?

Read Sam's other thread on the House of Bionic Motorola (skip around if you need to) but we already tried more than once to try to downgrade the software. Unles syou'r name is Crobs88, you'll believe us when we say that you cannot.

Using this tool on my BIONIC, I have this error:
F:\Android related\Targa\System Files\cdma_targa_9.8.2O-72_VZW-22_cfc.xml\Windows\fastboot.exe flash emstorage emstorage.img
error: cannot load 'emstorage.img'
Of course, the FXZ from the Drdev SBF site has a 0 byte emstorage.img in it, so it makes sense - just a heads up in case anyone tries to use the utility on a BIONIC.

Yea, that stupid file causes all kinds of problems. I haven't updated the FXZ Flasher in quite a while but I should update it with the code I used for the script generator to ignore this file.

I replied to your other post....short answer here would be no this isnt the tool. You could do it with HoM but you would need to edit the script as I posted in the other thread....
Easiest to just do it by hand.
