I prefer 64 bit as well.... but since there are people that [still] prefer 32 bit (or don't know which they have) .... our goal is for it to work flawlessly across all platforms and architectures....:-) :-)At least one of my testers has 64 bit Ubuntu so that's good at least. He said "32 bit is for wimps". LMAO. I agree, but, we can't assume.

Shoot, I missed the new one. Yea, if you don't mind sending it to me on dropbox that'd be super! Thanks so much and I REALLY appreciate what you guys have done here. I'm not a linux newbie by any means, but, I've been out of the linux game for long enough where I can't write scripts blind anymore and I don't have linux installed atm.
That should save you a few hours on download!

the auto detection is working fine(thanks to obeygiant)..... fastboot is working..... where we have been coming across failures is mostly in 32 bit linux.... webtop fails to flash due to size..... the device rejects it....
I noticed Matt updated his utility and that webtop no longer flashes. He made a good point that there aren't really any webtop mods, and that there really should never be a reason to reflash that partition. Since the only real errors we have seen lately are due to webtop, it may be worth deleting it from the utility. That would save a good 1.3 Gb in file space also. Food for thought. Talk amongst yourselves

nice...... I the same day my Ubuntu went down, I had already deleted it from my copy of the utility :-) :-) didn't have an opportunity to test it so.... bottom line, great minds think alike :-)I noticed Matt updated his utility and that webtop no longer flashes. I've heard rumors that webtop is going away.... permantly anyway.....I've certainly considered it in the House of Bionic, as well. BUT, there have been people who've messed around with webtop mods and that'd cause those people issues. I bill the HoB as being able to get a person to the end point no matter what they've done to their system. Webtop is never going to be updated again after ICS, however, so, I don't know....I have to consider it myself.

perfect point...... its an option..... not a requirement :-) :-) so.... good bye webtop :-) hurts my feelings NONE :-)Personally, I've only used it maybe half a dozen times, and really only to test it out. Kinda gimmicky but I loved the idea of having that option, if you so chose.

I really need to discuss this with my bionic users, as well. It'd save SOOOOOOO much freaking time to nuke webtop when moving from update to update. I can keep it for the full reinstall option. HMMMM, that's the key. Thanks guys!
I like that. I may separate webtop into a separate option. Available if needed, but not flashed on EVERY fastboot to stock. That's what I love about this community

That's exactly my thinking. Make it available for those that need it but not forced on everyone. 99.9% of people don't mess with webtop so there's no need to flash it. For those that do, we can give them an option to fix it. NICE. I love this community, as well!
