I had SystemUI not responding issue.

Had to close error message several times before it recovered.

First time I had the issue.

We'll see if it happens again.

Yeah... that happens to me sometimes. I have to reflash the whole rom.

OK - quick review - I like it so far. This KitStalk/Grabber ROM is really nice. Seems like everything works, and works is an important feature in itself. So many roms I've downloaded where important stuff, like the ability to make a phone call, doesn't work.

Having said that - there's always room for improvement.

I know you like your boot animation but I'm not all that wild about it and would like more choices. Same with the lock screen button. It's cute - but I'd rather have something stock looking as an option.

Additionally the navigation buttons should have a choice to go to the KitKat look for those of us who are afraid of change. :)

Customizations

I like the customizations, and I noticed you preinstalled xposed, which I like. xposed can get a little confusing in that many modules do the same stuff as your settings menu and I'm concerned about modules clobbering each other and/or conflicts between your setting and modules. Since you included it I'm assuming (maybe wrongly) that these are all compatible?

Which brings me to my next question. Rather than have these fancy setting in the rom why not just use xposed modules instead? Have a Beanstalk module and install and activate xposed as part of the install? That way you can have something in settings that just runs an xposed module app and you don't have to do all that work yourself within the rom.

Anyhow - great rom - good work.

As far as the nav bar icons, you can get a theme or there is an xposed plugin that you can can choose your icons. As far as my xposed plugins I add, far as i can tell, none interfere with the rom built in settings. Only one that comes close is the flashlight plugin, and it doesnt work on KKBL for some reason. But that plugin works by holding the vol up button, where as the built in settings is holding the power button. What xposed plugin where you concerned about?

I was just concerned in general. Nothing specific yet.

But ....

There is one annoying issue I noticed and not sure if it's the rom or exactly where it's coming for.

When I run in Car Mode I get an annoying alert:

"Car mode enabled Touch to exit car mode"

I'd really like to get rid if that message.

I don't use car mode, not sure how/if you can disable it.

Fix for those having black screen on TWRP. Go  into the TWRP settings and disable screen timeout and set brightness to 100% (I always do this and that is why I don' have the black screen issue) I was talking to the guy that builds TWRP for us (Nobe1976) and he is making a fresh TWRP that has a fix built in. It should be ready soon.

I have a couple servers if you want to set up a mirror... At least you'll have a backup... Have a home server (slow as snail balls) and a remote web server (regular snail slow) but they are pretty reliable and I have full control so no one can't shlong around and delete it.

My only gripe with the ROM so far is that whenever I have Wi-Fi on my phone goes into super slow mode for a while... Once I'm in an app it's fine but switching between apps or from app to ui it hangs pretty bad. Been switching around performance options which helped a little. On the plus side the Wi-Fi actually stays connected now. Huzzah.

@Pistacio I only see white boxes on a lot of comments on mobile and it's probably one of them so obviously I had to ask otherwise I wouldn't ask anymore because I always read back. I also cannot use quote, it doesn't work on mobile and PC on my end and I have to use "More Reply Options" to reply, clicking Post button just doesn't work. Anyways, no white boxes on PC and I'm reading them now.

was excited to try out the new build after finally fixing my razr m. I'll just play around with the previous build until the new hosting is up.

Quick reply on mobile says unable to connect to server but posts anyways... Maybe a Tapatalk issue. Haven't been on the actual form in forever.

No problem man, you have legitimate reason. Tapatalk acts up sometimes as well. Some people just don't bother reading thru a thread before posting a question that's already been answered.

On another note, I've been on the 9/19 jbbl build and haven't had any reason to update! Should I?
