I'm running CM11 rom. Id KitStalk close enough that I can just flash KitStalk over CM11 without wiping and get away with it?

That's awesome... couldn't figure out WTF was up with the volume thing. Was driving me nuts. The rest was 100% on point, though. Been happy with this ROM since the beginning. Happy to see it will live on. Just a quick question... Noticed the Samsung directory under KitStalk... the GF has an S4 and I put some crappy ROM on it... Only one I could find that she liked. Is this being developed in that direction? If so, what would the right build be? I'm only familiar with the 926 in this arena. Could give her way better customization if I knew what I was working with like the Graber KitStalk ROM.
Yeah i was screwing aroudn wth the volumes and jacked up the earpiece bad haha. But I am glad you like the ROM, most credit goes to Scott Hart, i just put my own twist on it. I most certainly can build for the S4. I need a few days to get one up, but I will work on it for sure. I have no way of testing it out once I build it, I usually test then release, So if there is any bugs just let me know and I can try and work them out.

No, if you switch roms...any rom, you MUST do a clean install. KitStalk is based off of CM11 but it is not CM11.

You are correct - it didn't work going from CM11 to KitStalk without wipe. So I'm having to go through the long process of Titanium restore.

I know that I'm right, haha. When you restore data, only restore user apps/data. Don't restore any data from system apps, other than WiFi passwords, wallpaper, etc.You are correct - it didn't work going from CM11 to KitStalk without wipe. Yeah - it just takes a while to pick through all that stuff on Titanium and figure out what to restore. Would be nice if you just recognized CM or other roms and smartly wiped out the incompatible stuff where I could just install the rom and it worked. Not sure how hard that would be though.
So - got it working - and you have a lot more things to play with than CM11. However they had a customizable settings screen I liked and the ability to download updates from the "About Phone" section. (you always notice the missing stuff first) - but - I like it. Will test it more to see if I'm going to keep it.

New build is solid.
I flpped my phone over to snooze alarm this morning, so the sensors are working
Speakerphone is usable volume, GPS working.
I can't seem to get the calander widget to show on the Lock Screen anymore, but that's minor.
THANKS for your great work on this!
Every once in a while i have issue with TWRP 2.8.0.0.
It will go to recovery, but screen is black.
It still responds to touch, and since i know the buttons by heart, i can reboot it from recovery.
Doesn't happen all the time, i think it mostly happens from cold boot/powered off state.
Anyone else experiencing this issue with TWRP 2.8.0.0?

Okay thanks! I'm going to try it this week!TWRP is easier but you can use CWM... TWRP is much more user friendly and simpler to use. Yes just follow my directions and your GPS will work flawlessly. You will have to flash them as I release them (only if you want to). At one point I had an app included that would tell you when there was an update, but it was alot of extra work that I didnt want to keep up with. It is easier for me to just leave a post when there is an update
Make sure you get that right version. I have one for the KitKat bootloader and the JellyBean bootloader. Both get regular updates.

I've gotten that issue time to time from cold boot & power menu. I've tried reflashing TWRP, no diff. I usually do the same w/ reboot in recovery.
I'm still getting the same WiFi issue I was getting before on the other builds. It just hangs on Authenticating... WiFi works fine on stock. On the Kitstalk builds(clean installs), I have to set a static IP for the XT926.

I have never had issues with twrp, never had a black screen. And I have no WiFi issues, works perfect for me. When I first updated to 4.4 custom rom, I had to change my encryption type in my router. It has worked fine ever since.
Not sure what's up w/ TWRP for us. It's not like recovery doesn't boot, might be the screen.
I fixed my wifi issue. My router settings were on WPA2 only & AES. Had to change it to WPA/WPA2 & AES/TKIP. Auto connected w/o even having to forget network on my phone.
Update: Wifi connection dropped at some point. Changing the settings again doesn't do anything. Going back to static IP on my phone.

TWRP seems to have an issue on blank screen. I get it on both of my Maxx 926's it boots into recovery but nothing shows on the screen on one boot the next time it works great. Going back to 2.7.1.0 doesn't help either.

I had SystemUI not responding issue.
Had to close error message several times before it recovered.
First time I had the issue.
We'll see if it happens again.
