First, just wanted to say things are working flawlessly for me, so thank you very much nprevette!

Second, [probably not the appropriate place to discuss this, but...] curious if people are excited about the current crop of Moto phones or just thoughts in general about what future phone they're getting?

I'm not thrilled with the new line. Still using dual-core processors when everyone else has gone to quad-core processors. They are making phones harder and harder to get unlocked bootloaders, which is needed for custom recoveries and roms.  It is my phone, why can't I do what i please with it? So for now I am staying with my Razr M until a good unlockable phone comes out.

Evastonian... No WiFi issues?
Everyone with WiFi issues, is this from a clean or dirty flash. Most issues are usually solved with a clean flash, especially with a version number change as ALOT is updated.

Nprevette420 the Wi-Fi issues I had were on the release prior to the current one. It had worked for awhile then for whatever reason refused to connect for a couple of days. I dirty flashed the new version of the rom and wiped dalvik three times like usual. WiFi still did not work at first then about a day later suddenly connected. Now it's working fine. I never reset the router or did anything fancy. All of this was on kbbl.

clean flash for me - 3 wipes. on twrp.
interestingly enough, when I went back to stock - it didn't fail the first flash.

and when I would normally take a day to try other things - I just didn't have time before my trip - and won't play around with a new ROM if I'm not close to home in case of an issue.

Just curious, what did you wipe before you installed KitStalk?

And what did you wipe before you installed Stock?  If you did a proper wipe (as in OP) then it would have failed on the first flash....

I followed the instructions exactly - and the only place it deviated was when it said it would fail - it didn't.
I was on Mokee starting mid-august (only one that wifi worked after trying PacMan, Gummy, CM11...) until the new release didn'twork.

clean flashed to try Gummy - didn't work.  

Clean flashed to stock.  got GPS on Maps, then flashed to twrp recovery.  

Tried Gummy again.  wifi didn't work.  

Clean flashed KitStalk.  Wifi didn't work.  

clean flashed back to stock.  and stayed with that.

Not a MoKee fan, as it's chinese, but when I found a wifi working i stuck with it.

My PRL version is 15319

 

I'll play around with it more this weekend when I'm home.

Those having wifi issues, try this app, it's worked in the past for me. Your results may vary.
