TWRP 2.7.1.0 is now out for JB bootloader. Make sure you get the right one He has a themed one or original (OP Updated)

Good news guys, I have just found a way (HOPEFULLY) to build for both JB and KK bootloaders. When i get a chance, either Thursday or Friday I will TRY to get a new build out for JB and KK bootloaders.

Yes I am Verizon. I use global and everything is fine. LTE, Sms and mms.

 

Just as a warning to everyone else, this problem was caused by trying to "reprogram" the phone using *228. DO NOT DO THIS as it ruins the SIM card which needs to be replaced after. It will not allow you to connect to LTE without forcing it to that setting (which turns off phone/sms). Going to get the SIM replaced tonight.

 

Which leaves me with the conclusion that this ROM is perfect, looking forward to the KK bootloader.

Two separate builds. One for jb and one for kk.

Ok people, i have two builds going right now...One for JB bootloader and one for KK bootloader. If all goes well and nothing errors, then there will be a fresh build tonight.

 

Edit: With all the CM updates and beanstalk not being updated it has errored out on something i cannot fix. But now I know I can build for both bootloaders.

so I have 20140703 flashed for KK BL. Do I need to clean flash this update? Is it a fresh new build or has it been built on top of the old KK BL? sorry if this is confusing man. Thanks a lot for your continuing development.

It is fresh and new, different from the old way I built for the kk bl. Plus it has had a ton of updates in the past 2 months. So yes do a clean build.

So now that KK BL is being supported again, is it worth it to go back? I downgraded to the JB BL once i saw that KK was no longer supported. Are the bugs (which i assume were the reason for stopping support in the first place) gone now? I'd be so happy to get back up to the latest and greatest software and get rid of this screen dimming thing. but im also a fan of working mic's and GPS, so not sure what I should do. any suggestions?

As far as my experience goes, KK builds are where it's at. No screen dimming issues and lots of up to date features. I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Unless they've fixed the problems with the mic and wifi then the jb builds are less troublesome and only thing outdated is the old kernel

I havent tested GPS but WiFi is fixed, and speakerphone issue is fixed. Has anyone tested GPS in the new KK build?
