i tired to flash nexesque for the xt926 and it broke my wifi i know im in the 907 area but i was wondering if flashing the 86p to my 926 work ? ....in order to get my wifi back .

As far as i know, it's only for the xt907. You may brick if you flash to your 926.

Note - This is the initial 4.4.3 release so it could have bugs in it still. So don't expect it to be perfect. Will be fixed in time though.  I have not had time, yet,  to test this out so if you people want flash the new update and let me know how it is

Report:

 

-did clean install [wipe data all and cache and dalvic 3x]

-install 443 zip n gapps 443

-booting logo has text meticulus on top of the screen, i dont know what thats mean.

-stuck in booting logo, have to force reboot 3x, then it shows the text of optimizing apps...

-enter the first set up welcome screen, choosing language

-aaaaaand....... "unfortunately, Setup Wizard has Stopped"

-can't do any further...

 

-did reinstall with just 443 zip without any thing else

-still the same problem...

 

so???

I will try and get a working build...it is SO close. Once i test on my phone i will release it

It will be a while before I get home to start working on this. If anyone got past the boot loop and is getting FC on setup wizard. Use the 4.4.2 gapps, that should fix the FC issues

 

Edit: No install on the rom, then boot up. Then reboot into recovery and flash Gapps 4.4.3 or 4.4.2. YOu cannot turn on Wifi from Setup wizard, you have to do it manually from settings. Again this is for anyone that can get passed the boot loop. Anyone that is stuck on boot loop try wiping CACHE only and reboot. I havent tried but it may work. Keep me informed people.

OK so I just found out, after I deleted the update from the server, in order to get it to boot, you have to install the rom, reboot. Then reboot into recovery and install gapps 4.4.2...... 4.4.3 may or may not work. Anyone that still has it downloaded, try this and report back.

Wipe everything 3x... install ROM... Boot(will prob boot loop) ... reboot back into recovery.... Wipe cache and dalvik.... boot (should be OK this time).... reboot back into recovery.... Wipe cache and dalvik.... install gapps...wipe cache and dalvik.... Boot.

Curious: can anyone explain why the wipe 3x? A wipe just reformats a partition, right? What effect does wipe #2 and #3 have since you are reformatting an empty partition?

It's just to be sure that everything that's supposed to get wiped - gets wiped. We don't assume that wipe #1 gets everything.

if the rom is using the new kernal i know u have to take the stock kitkat update, i also read that some people have been able to get the 4.4.3 roms to boot by formatting their internal storage.

It's using same kernel from 4.4.2 nothing new about it. Should be able to use arrrghhhs kernel too. Will try that method to get it to boot.

So I just noticed that Cyangoenmod released a 4.4.3 for msm8960 I unified.... (Cough cough) hint hint :-p
