I find that interesting as I'm running 81p. Was 80p put out after ? If so I would definitely like the zip in case I can't get .86p to work.

80 is the one i have had forever. It is from 98.18.94 ota. 81 is probably newer lol I just dont have it.

Edit: Upon further research it looks like 80p is from 98.30.1 and 98.18.94, they are the same just different numbers From what i can find...it goes in this order 81p then 78p then 80p and just released 86p

Will post it when it is done uploading, This is for XT907 on version. Don't flash if you are on anything else.

(in case you have wifi issues, which seems to be common even in OTA updates)

Yeah I started doing the research myself today. No luck with the .86p. Killed my WiFi and tethering. However I did have more luck coming from .81p to .86p in that my toggles for WiFi worked. Coming from .80p to .86p the WiFi toggle was broken. Just an observation.

Do you have a flashable 81p zip? I would like to upgrade to 86p but i need wifi and i cant find a 81p anywhere. Look for about an hour. Up it to zippy or dropbox or something if you do :)

Actually, it's a backup I created using Philz of just the modem. Think it will work? Even so, I couldn't actually get the WiFi to stick. I was just able to get the toggles going. It wouldn't actually connect... I could play around a bit and see though.

Edit: I can get the WiFi to scan and find access points, however I can't actually connect. Even after entering the password, it just closes out and doesn't connect. It's like it can't configure the IP address.

ahh ok. Well that sucks. From what i read on xda and other sites...even people that are completely stock and took 4.4.2 official OTA are having wifi issues. Moto screwed something up with their new update.

I am on 20140504 and it is working well except for a minor Bluetooth bug:

When I power off my BT headset sometimes audio switches back to phone as it should. But sometimes audio does not switch back to phone.

In this condition pressing the volume rocker displays the BT icon, though no BT devices are connected, and audio goes nowhere. Powering on the headset does not always restore audio to the headset either.

Disabling BT in Settings restores audio to the phone... but this is awkward, especially if all of this is happening in a call.

Any comments on this issue?

Issue maybe if you have a sound mod like Viper installed as a system app and locking onto Bluetooth effect in the app. The phone continues to recognize Bluetooth because sound mod or music player app is forcing Bluetooth Effect

Viper4Android is a system app on this rom. Maybe that is the issue? I don't know. But i am working on getting an update and will also push it via ota app.

I sometimes get the similar issue. When I have my headphones plugged in, you can't hear the music in which I have to reboot my phone to restore the audio.

So there is an AOSP ROM on XDA that has eradicated the back light issue. can we expect a fix for this on this ROM soon?

what would be the best way to reduce the downtime between flashing the new update and restoring all the apps? I've been using titanium backup but I'm just wondering if there's any way to reduce the time.

Do a dirty flash...No need to clean flash unless version number changes.

After trying a few kitkat roms, this one by far is the most rounded, absolutely flawless.

I cant thank everyone enough for their hard work making this.

Although, I have 1 stress/reliability test left: heavy gaming :p ALL other kitkat roms freeze from time to time playing graphic intensive games

Ill let you guys know how it goes!

Okay I guess it's not completely eradicated, but mostly gone, the dev doesn't have it at all.

Ahh yes validus. I used this rom a while back. I'll check in to what they did to fix the screen brightness issue and try to get it in kitstalk and our new rom.

Edit: looking though the thread, its not fixed...and it seems to only affect the xt907 or moto_msm8960. No other phones have that issue
