Running the latest update with no issues. I DID use Philz this time and restored with TiBu, however I think TWRP is much simpler and intuitive. Philz is more intuitive than CWM but it's still difficult to find everything. No idea about nandroids yet... Anybody tried the KK vzw update?

Did you use Philz 6.41.6? Thats what i use and its prety simple. If you click on "wipe data/factory reset" then click "clean for install new rom" it wipes data, cache and system. then you can go to advanced and wipe davlik cache. Then install your rom. Way simpler than original cwm. You do have to install zip one by one but philz has an option to choose last install folder so you jump straight to where your zips are. So personally this is my new favorite recovery.

Yeah I figured it out no problem, but it's still not as simple at twrp. And the interface requires much more digging. I can see the draw though

Thats true it is not as simple as twrp but it is simpler than cwm. Its all personal preference though, More digging than twrp....yes. More digging than cwm...no. All recoveries work just fine though.

Could you possibly update with newest kernel and whatnot from the verizon release? I think someone on XDA posted the files...

Doesn't quite work that way. I have to wait for the people that make our base rom to update their files. Should be very soon cause they are pretty quick at updates. Soon as they update i will sync it up and have an update with the new official KK kernel and whatnots. Trust me, i will do it as soon as its available for me to do it. Because I want it too

Cool, very excited. What's the latest with you guys and the drdevs server? Also, you guys are trying to build your own special ROM? What are you trying to do differently?

The latest news is that we are working hard on making a new rom for you guys. To start we are going to take a rom and modify is like crazy, then once we get a hang of that we are going to make a brand new one from scratch. We will take the best options from different roms and make one really awesome rom.

Will it be a unified build?
Yes, unified is much easier than building for each individual phone.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but if I try to access the xposed installer from the beanstalk options - display options - framework and modules -- I get a FC saying the closed installer has stopped working. However, it works just fine if I open the installer directly from the app drawer. It's a small detail, I know. Otherwise everything else is working great!

No i didn't notice that because i like going through the app drawer. But yes it did fc when i tried to open it via beanstalk options.

Got some bad news guys. Looks like Motorola doesn't want to release their kernel source so we might not get an updated kernel..... At least for a while
what....?? booo motorola....
anyway, can't we just pull up the kernel from the official rom?

Yeah boo motorola but I just sent a request to the moderator of our phone on the motorola site if they will release the files....we have to wait and see what they say.
If you or anyone wants to try, this is what you can do. Make a backup of your current setup in recovery (use externel sd because going back to stock erases internal sd card) and go back to complete stock and take the OTA update. After the update you will need to install a custom recovery via fastboot or the script on this site but its old so if you use the script switch out the recovey files with the new ones (but rename the new recovery file name to match the old file name). Then get root by flashing SuperSU zip file in recovery. Then install flashify to backup the new kernel. After all that you can restore your backup of kitstalk and use flashify to flash the kernel you just backed up. This MAY or MAY NOT work. It could cause a bootloop with the new kernel i dont know. But this is how i would do it.

I was try it... Nothing - just bootloop.. Stock kernel won't work with AOSP..
