There is no official date yet, but it should be this month, as you said. Our rom will never be based off of stock roms but we will incorporate the updates such as the kernel for better, more stable performance. So we will continue our new rom and work in the updates when they come out.
ah i see...
so you guys will only took the kernel from official and merge it with yours rom? nice... can't wait .gif)

Where did you guys hear the KitKat should be released this month? I've run several custom kitkat Roms and they were working for the most part but I really want the official release.
I would not plan on any date until you hear it from VZW. It is currently in VZW labs hands right now, but that can mean very little in time of release. The HD and M's are approaching EOL in October, so it can be a possibility that they will drag it out until shortly before just to drop it and not have to worry about support for it.

I was going by this
Knowing how Verizon is, they probably will wait for the last minute to release it.

This is fantastic. I ran into one problem with two factor authentication and not being able to get the SMS, but that was resolved. I am having issues with Netflix force closing. If I can figure that out, this will be perfect for my needs, any one else have trouble with netflix?

Install this xposed module, activate it, reboot... Then run Netflix, that fixed my issue
this worked great, netflix is working fine.

Just got some bad news. Zack just quit on us. Now we have no one to make boot animations for us.

Our new rom will be CM based. I personally have never used ART. Also we have added in xposed and it is not compatible with ART...... yet.I used older build with ART. But latest build refuses to switch to ART. Are you changed base from aosp to cm?

Its possible, I think it is a kernel issue and with the official update coming soon there will be new kernels for us to use. Also it should get rid of the glitch between boot logo and boot animation. The screen dimming issue is annoying but easily remedied with the slide status bar brightness option. It should also make the KK ROMs more stable although they are already stable enough to use as a daily driver.

Apparently PhilZ Touch Recovery has regular updates. I just found this out. Here you go for anyone who wasn't aware either.
You should be able to flash the Motorola unified msm8960 recovery
I successfully flashed Motorola unified msm8960 v6.41.6 with no issues to my XT907
