The addition is the option of picking and choosing what apps you want or don't want. Apps including Patricks favorite themes, my favorite theme, flappy bird, qr/barcode scanner, titanium backup, xposed torch, adaway and many more. Eventually the whole rom will be like this, not just user appson 4/25 and couldn't be happier. great battery life! I think a nice addition would be, like another user said, a QR scanner app or something of the like. I am totally happy with this ROM. great work devs!

Hmm, I'm on 4-25 and use the micro gapps (even smaller than the mini) and the torch app is there. But our newest rom is 4-27, built early this morning. Was going to attach a screen shot but it's telling me site administration has disabled adding pictures.
i am now also getting a FC from google play services constantly so i guess ill try installing the 4-28 stock pa gapps

I installed the newest stock pa gapps first and i am now hung up on the beanstalk app optimization screen. it has been on the "Starting the awesome experience" screen for about 20 minutes. should i just flash the newest build or would i be able to recover my current build without restoring a nandroid

sorry to complain here but has anyone noticed a longer delay on the nav keys? (compared to a rom like deadrage/deadcalm)

Do what ytstud said, I always do a clean flash with restoring apps/data with Titanium. I am not having the issue of lag on the nav bar. By the way, dont feel bad for "complaining". Anything you are having issues with, ANYTHING you need at all. Just ask, we are all here to help each other

Super minor complaint, but I don't think the Beanstalk Options\Status Bar\Signal Color option is working..at least not for the 4/24 build?
Apart from that, to all the people saying that Kitstalk should pre-package the rom with this app or that app, I am going to be the guy that says no it shouldn't. The idea of most roms is to create a fresh/slim start. It aint too hard to use TitaniumBackup or Nandroid manager to restore all your apps once you reflash.
And, I advise that you *always* start fresh after formatting/wiping. I have tried to flash new roms on top of old ones many times in the past and it *always* leads to problems. Just use Nandroid Manager and you will thank me later

I can't get the Pandora patch To work. is there something I'm missing in the settings.
I should of said this on the update post. Sorry i forgot. You have to check the settings you want then enable the module. Next In framework, click install /update, then reboot. Should be good.... If not just uncheck an option then recheck it and open the app back up.

Yes the status bar color thing is from the base and nothing we can do to fix it. Just have to wait for a fix from beanstalk.
And as far as the apps, i don't mind adding them in and we are working on getting the rom aroma so you can pick what you want or don't want.
And i do a fresh install with every flash i do and i never take nandroid. I just restore my data from my user apps and text messages and call logs. I never restore settings or anything like that. So yes it is s good idea not to restore nandroid with a fresh install because it could cause issues.

OK guys i just built a new update
MD5 - 317c864c0b4b78e8f84b7f491ac0ac83
Changes
Usual under the hood stuff
Updated Pandora Patcher
Updated PA Gapps in OP
Cant remeber what else
Version number is still 4.4.285 so no need to clean flash, just overwrite your current build if on 285. By the way there is a new build every 2 days by our bot so look every so often to see if there is an update. There wont be a change log for them, its mostly just under the hood stuff that beanstalk pushes out.
I was having issues with my 4-25 build. People were telling me my voice sounded garbled when on the phone, but i could hear them loud and clear. So i decided to make a fresh build tonight.

I have noticed that the "Graber Rom Updater" app has not been in the last few updates, last one was 4.4.275.
I have extracted the apk and loaded it in the 285 version. When I run it informs me that an update is available, problem is it trys to update an old version from 4-20.
Just thought you would like to know.
I'll second what skuppej said about bloat. There are many different type of users at varying levels of technical proficiency. It would be impossible to satisfy ALL users.
I think the system tweaks, init.d scripts, xposed modules, and basic apps like a music player and calculator and the like should be included.
There are a few select apps like TiBu, AdAway, Greenify that I personally use that somebody else might not, someone might use Nandroid Manager instead of TiBu or some similar situation.
Problem is when app are added that any particular user does not use then it just waste space and resources.
I always try to use the KISS approach if possible.
This is not a criticism, just my opinion.
This is a Great Rom and a Great community, I have always found everyone very polite , understanding and helpful.

And the reason it says update to 4-20 is because i haven't gotten around to updating the site that pulls the updates. I'll fix that tonight. And yes i know we can't please everyone with the apps that is why we are working on using aroma to install the roms so you can pick and choose what apps you want. And i agree, everyone here is always polite and very helpful. I love this community. Thanks for your input.

Just a heads up, a bunch of stuff got changed last night after i made a build so tonight i will be releasing a fresh build with the changes. Since a bunch of stuff was changed it is recommended to do a clean flash.
