Question or well two.. Any way to disable the clock/weather on the lock screen or to go super minimal? Second I can only disable all but one of the lock screen slider shortcuts last one requires something in it? Thanks in advance great work great ROM! Had WiFi issues on every ROM but this and pa

Probably in Beanstalk Settings or Lockscreen Settings?

By the way, the reason I'm so excited about this super minimal upload is because I always have issues whenever I remove system apps - things start force closing. So this is great. Now if only there was a way to remove certain google preloaded apps from the getgo... (like video editor).

So far so good. I needed to format data + repair filesystems, rsd back to latest OTA, connect to wifi, then wipe dalvik/cache/system/data + install (no reboot in between) to fix my wifi not working

Also got the GPS lock just in case

You can disable the weather but not the clock that I'm aware of, go to lockscreen settings, clock widget, weather panel and uncheck display weather.

Which ones are you removing, some are removable without issues. Video Editor being one of them, just use Titanium Backup to remove. By the way, Titanium backup  works best with SuperSU

All those can be removed without causing FC. Give me a list of everything you are removing and I can tell you what the problem is.

Yeah I use Titanium Backup to remove anything I don't want and have never had any issues.

On another note..Newest build has been flawless for my uses, I did notice a little bug though while customizing the lockscreen today..if you go to change the lock handle...whichever handle you select it will apply the one listed above the one you selected.

Yes I am aware of this bug. Thanks for reminding me about it

I think some of you are missing my point. I installed the new rom over the old one - no wiping and reinstall. When I installed the new rom it's not suppoed to remove apps. I understand that some things aren't included. What I'm point out is that it shouldn't delete my apps.

Hope I made it clear this time.

It only removed stuff that was a "system app." When you flash the new system over the old system, it removes any system apps not in the list. It's not a bug, just the way it works. You can go into play store and download Titanium or download the apk in advance and install. In the future, it won't remove those apps because they will no longer be system apps.

Let me know if any of these are not safe to remove...

AOSP keyboard, Android Live Wallpapers, Basic Daydreams, Black Hole, CM Home, OmniSwitch, Phase Beam, Themes, Themes Provider...

Thanks!

I remove all of these (except omniswitch, just froze it with TB and it seems to cause no issues though) and more, everytime - no issues. A GAPPS package that I've been using lately is the "Google Apps Minimal Edition for Android 4.4.x" because it removes some unnecessary system apps automatically (x+ versions), saves some time on fresh flashes.

It was perfectly clear from the beginning.

Moroshek hit it on the head.  If it's a system level app that was on the ROM, and it's not included in the new ROM, it will remove that app.

Any ROM that removes my Titanium backup is not going on my phone. ROMs should NOT REMOVES APPS THAT I HAVE INSTALLED.

Sometimes they do, that's just the nature of modding phones. If you can't handle it, return your phone to stock and leave it that way. While you're at it, do some reading up on how system updates work...You can argue all day, but if you update and the app is not included in the new system, there is a pretty good chance that it's going to be removed automatically. For some reason, the update said it should remove TiBU. If you can't handle taking 30 seconds to re-install an app, then this world is not for you, go get an iPhone.

OK - trying to understand this. These apps were "system apps" and are therefore uninstalled - but I can replace them with "user apps" that are basically the same thing? And will future roms not uninstall my apps?

Yes, I added the apks to the OP. Just install the apps you want and they will be user apps. Future updates will not uninstall them because they are user apps.

Everything is OK except omniswitch, themes and themes provider. Those 3 will cause FCs or issues down the line. You can remove keyboard if you have one to replace it.
