I'll work on an update tonight or tomorrow. Not sure why some are having trouble with booting up bit I'll get it fixed. Sorry about the issue guys

  Replaced the boot animation with the one from the previous build, still hangs on the boot animation. the boot animation does not freeze, it keeps going until I stop it. I've downloaded the rom twice, flashed with and without other zips (GAPPS,SU). Maybe it's the phone being stupid...it is a refurbished one.

not your phone my friend. something is going wonky with the ROM. phone isn't booting past the logo either. it shows that it's loading, but never gets past it.

Didn't have any booting issues with the latest build on my razr m. I'm still backing my $#!+ up however, so it may be too soon to tell. But the new boot logo is huge and horrendous. I'd like to use the old one again

Calendar won't sync with Exchange/Email.

I tried both GoogleCalendar with PA GAPPs, and the stock that came with the Rom.

I tried the latest build, xt907, booted fine, but build.prop values in settings wouldn't stick. Other than that seemed to run fine. Not crazy about new boot animation, but its so easy to change, that it's not an issue.

Razr M aswell. I just flashed an older version and it runs fine. but the newest one is a no - go for me. I'm using Philz, but I've never had issues with it before.

I just wanted to say that I became an instant fan of the kitstalk ROM.. I have a razr HD xt926.. I'm using the older version because the newer version would not boot up on mine either. The only problem that I encounter on the older version is my GPS will not fix and I run out of storage really quick. Other than that I believe it's a beautiful ROM and I am eager to try the new version

Glad to hear I got another fan. I am aware of the booting issue and I think the new builds don't like cwm or philz. I will have a new build out today with fixes and additions. To make your GPS work with my rom or any custom rom on your device you must follow the directions on the OP.

I ONLY use TWRP. I always have the newest version. So I don't think that's the problem.... Unless a theme could cause issues?? Hmm

Okay thank you I just read it and I see I have to go back to the original stock rom when you say get GPS lock do you mean just turn on the GPS and then reboot into recovery?

Yes, get to stock 4.4.2 (rooted/unlocked), open GPS, get GPS Lock while your on stock442, then flash kitstalk.

I'm told you only have to get the GPS lock once while your on stock442 (open Maps), then you're good for future flashing...

I can confirm that worked for me.

I went back to JBBL for now, tried 1010 JBBL build and had same calendar issues i had on KKBL.

 

I recall someone asking about what JBBL roms are out there.
IMHO, 2 most stable JBBL roms for XT926 are InfliktedHD and BlurryHD. (4.1.x based)
But, KitStalk is still the most comprehensive rom out there.

I'm on the 9-19 Kitstalk JBBL Build for now because I need everything to work flawlessly this week.
Looking forward to testing next KKBL build the next opportunity i get...

Believe I have that issue fixed in my next build. It is building now so after testing I will upload it for you guys to download. But I don't use calendar or email apps. I only use Gmail. So let me know if it works or not. Sorry I keep breaking things lol.

Any chance you'll be looking into BT/wired headset issues for KKBL?

I did not have the issues on the JBBL 10-10 build...

Theme should not affect it. Seems its hit and miss. Very odd bug.\

Wired headset is definately an issue for me only after i connect a call.
