So - I'd like to get rid of the boot animation and replace it with something more simple and generic. What's the best way to do that?

 

Also - the new boot animation looks like it was sized to a bigger screen than the RAZR M.

 

Testing it now for functionality. And thank you for your continued good work.

Find the boot animation you want. And replace it in "system/media" and make sure you have the permissions set correctly. Boot animation is wrong size and I just figured out a few hours ago why so next build it will be fixed.

Tried to install newest update on XT926 KKBL. I always clean flash. Gets hung up on boot animation. Tried a couple different downloads and newest pagapps. Won't make it to setup. Had to restore older version

i've been testing the lates JB build.

 

everything seems works perfectly, except one... [anyone please verify this]

the vibrate seems off often...

 

every time i try to call my phone... the vibrate not working.

i reboot, call again, its there [vibrating]

then i try call again, the vibrate gone... [not working]

reboot again, its work. but then after some times, it not working, and need to be reboot...

 

Note: I do clean install.

No problems here. I wouldn't have uploaded it if I couldn't get past the boot animation.

I'll give it a more thorough test today and let you know. It's been a slight issue in past builds, but not enough to get too excited about. I'll report back tonight with my observations.

No problems here. I wouldn't have uploaded it if I couldn't get past the boot animation.

Idk what's up,I've never had a boot issue. Md5 is good, I let it sit for 15mins. If you'll have an update soon for the boot animation size,I'll wait and try it.

I have 2 different Headset issues with Dialer on latest KK build:

 

Bluetooth headset = no sound or MIC on a call, but function buttons work (Voice dialing, pressing call/volume buttons)

 

No MIC from Wired headset if you plug in headset AFTER you connect a call.

If i answer the call WITH my wired headset plugged in before i pick up, everything works fine.

If i answer the call, THEN plug in my wired headset after, no sound/MIC from headset. (Speaker/Handset works fine)

Also, the MIC button on the Wired headset does not Mute anymore, it makes a clicking sound, but nothing happens...

 

New Exchange Email is not Black Themed , but it works great.

Possible Dimming issue is back on KKBL? Thought i had issues last night, but Auto-Dim seems to be working today...

No Bootanimation issues for me.

 

Saw you included Arrrghhh's kernel in the JBBL build.

Might switch back to JBBL to compare... thoughts?

can report not being able to get past the boot animation on the newest KKBL as well. tried everything. Rebooting, no GApps, let it sit for 10 minutes. never had issues before.

I seriously doubt the Bootanimation would prevent your Rom from booting.

Make a flashable ZIP with a different bootanimation.zip included, and flash it in recovery.

Or, take the bootanimation from the previous KitStalk build, put it in the 10-10 build.zip, and flash.

See if it boots...

Im not saying its due to the boot animation, just that it will not boot past it. I've got to change the starter on my car and then I'll try switching the boot animations just to see what happens.

Regarding TWRP2800V2 for KKBL, I still get occasional Black Screen issue.

BUT, if I let the TWRP screen timeout, then tap the screen to wake up, the display comes up normally.

 

i loaded TWRP, got a Black Screen, then got distracted playing Mortal Kombat.

After the match, i went back to my black screen TWRP, tapped the screen, and display was there asking me to unlock.

 

I did not changed any TWRP settings before or after 2800V2

I'd try re-downloading it and re-copying it to your sdcard.

I always take the sdcard out and copy directly now.

I'll work on an update tonight or tomorrow. Not sure why some are having trouble with booting up bit I'll get it fixed. Sorry about the issue guys.
