You can but there is no reason..... The kernel with the ROM is completely optimized for this rom

I have some FC on new build:

- performance control 

- sound packs (on volume settings)

- costumize lockscreen target`s icon form gallery

 

On everything it works pretty good

I have the same thing. Well with performance control. Haven't used the other two. As I was going through titanium backup I noticed there is no performance control apk installed. And downloading it from the market does not fix it. Also the screen brightness issue is still there. I think it's a bug from the base cm11?
I love the new options though. Like the custom progress bar, pie and built in xposed.

Ya the performance control got removed by the base I'm not sure y they would do that but I'm working to get my own integrated

Here is a response for everyone....... The 4g issue..... Rsd back to stock Then reflash I would redownload the ROM too...if that doesn't fix the issue u need a new Sim.... I have no issues sending or receiving video or pic messages....I use handcent…...I'm working on fixing and redoing a bunch off stuff throughout the ROM so the next update will be much much different

Firstly, I love this ROM, Thanks to everyone who has help keep my Razr M on the cutting edge.

 

The phone is quite snappy and the battery life is phenomenal.

No FC issues except with Performance Controls and Bluetooth connecting to my truck.

I haven't seen much discussion on the BT problems anywhere, except when KK was initially released.

 

Here is my issue,

On the initial pairing with my 2011-F150 Sync (the one without the fancy color display) everything seems to work ok. I get 3 different profiles Phone audio, Media audio, and Messaging (guessing MAP profile). I can use Sync to make and receive calls and play music via Bluetooth audio.

When I leave and then come back to the truck the BT tries to reconnect as it should but after about ½ sec. of audio coming thru the Sync system I get a message on the phone that the bluetooth has stopped and the truck says BT disconnected.

Then the phone seems to restart the BT app and it tries to reconnect again only to fail. This cycle will continue until I turn BT off via the phone or truck.

Also the Messaging Profile disappears but the other 2 remain.

 

I know that KK is still in 'alpha' for this phone and it is amazing on how well this ROM works.

But I really need BT to work, I am willing to use another ROM if I have to.

 

Here are the versions I am using.

Beanstalk – 4.4.249

Baseband SM_BP_101032.021.32.80P

Ford Sync - Gen1 - V3.2.2

What a coincidence! I use Sync in my 2011 F350, but I don't have the nav display. I don't have the issues you're having though. Occasionally while using voice commands the truck has no idea what I'm saying and will call random people, but otherwise my BT works fine. What gapps are you using? And my radio is 101031.027.32.81P . That may be the issue

I am using the PA-gapps-modular-mini-4.4.2,  I always use the latest version.

What gapps do you use?

I really haven't seen much differnce with the radio updates, I'll try and go back to the one your using.

Currently using the 02/13 PA stock gapps. And I didn't realize I was out of date on the radio..

Ok, I've seemed to narrowed it down some.

 

Here are my actions/results.

 

1- switched to pa-stock-gapps / did not change behavior (BT still broken)

2- Tried 3 different radio files 80P, 79P, 81P / BT still broken

3- when setting up pairing with Sync answered 'NO' to question on phone  "Let Sync have access to you messages?"  (now the MAP profile does not show as available in BT options)

 

Horray, now my BT does not crash.

Seems to be some problem with the MAP profile. I do know that the MAP profile did work on ICS, that was before Google used the Broadcom BT stack for KK.

I would try to update the Sync, but Ford hasn't released any updates since I bought the truck.

 

Pjgraber, I don't know if this is something you are familiar with, if not, any ideas on who might be able to help.

Update posted! !!!!!!! Viper has been added in and ota is working via app called graber rom updater

I cant get the update to take, it keeps failing. tried clean & dirty flashing. no go

I was trying to flash the latest version for the first time and I recieved error flashing zip

 

EDIT: also tried flashing 2/21 update but I get error message saying it's for xt925, xt926 but one I downloaded says xt907

same here can't flash the update. I've dirty flashed and tried it clean. Even redownload the update to make sure it was a bad DL
