This time make sure that system isn't mounted before you install it. Go into mounts and uncheck system.

I cant install it either. same issue as last time. when you install with twrp it automatically does not have a check mark under mount sytem, so thats not the problem. i have no idea, im no developer just a guy that loves to flash roms. still want to check your rom out, i love the screen shots, but each time i have tried and it fails i have to rsd and all that fun stuff. i've probably have had to do it at least 4 times the last couple days. not beotchin just saying is all. thanks for all your work.

OK guys it has came to my attention that the server I am using to host my stuff is having issues. I will be uploading to a different reliable server later tonight. This could be causing these issues will downloading. All I know is I am running and installing this using my posted method without issues. Stay tune.

I tried installing following your instructions exactly and I still get errors. I have a copy of TWRP 2.6.1 if I installed that do you think that would make any difference?

It wouldn't hurt, but at this point I am thinking that there is more then just that. Testing this I installed this 15+ times using the new updater script and binary and always booted into the system. The only time I saw it give me the no system error was when I went into advance wipe and did a full wipe through dalvic, cache, data and system. When that happened I went back into mount settings in recovery and the system was checked. So I unchecked it and just did a factory reset in Wipe and installed and everything booted just fine. Makes me wonder if something on you phone is being left on there for this not to install properly. The only thing I can suggest and this is up to you is to backup what you have on internal storage and format it using RAGE or one of the other stock base ROMs that you can boot into. Best of luck.

I'm having issues with Bluetooth. I can't seem to get it to connect to anything at all for some reason. Any ideas? I'm using the SS version if that matters.

What version are you running on your stock slot? Which version of 86ed are you running? The original version 1.0 is 9.20 and the update is 9.30. If you are running this latest update and your stock is on a later version that might be the issue. Need to actually look into what Motorola updated to confirm this theory.

I'm running 9.30 in my stock slot. I'm running 2.0 for the 86ed version.

Might try deleting and creating a new slot and install again. I connect my LG Bluetooth headset without issues.. ..

Well swapped out the motherboard and just my luck. Its on the update where they patched to unlock.... Guess stock roms only for my DPod.....

Just wanted to thank you for this! Just got it installed and was able to get my carrier setup with this although I didn't use the included modem, just put mine in the zip instead and used twrp to flash install it, loving it so far! All that vzw stuff was annoying
