I doubt this is your prob but wouldn't hurt just to see. Is the MD5 checksum of the utility the same as in the OP for matts utility?

Has anyone heard any indication about when Verizon is going to rollout 6.16.215 to everyone through the official update process? I have several friends and family members who bought Razr's because of my recommendation back before the ICS update. Now almost all of them are already to the point that they will never buy another Motorola device ever again, and probably going to switch to IOS because Android receiving much of the hate from the horrible ICS performance on Motorola Razrs. I have updated my phone and 6.16.215 is a night/day improvement, but I am very hesitant to go around rooting all of my friends and family member's phones because then I will automatically be obligated to be their tech support for any future phone problems.

Verizon, please rollout 6.16.215 to all Motorola Razrs!!!! ICS has tainted the reputation of this excellent phone. The sales people in the Verizon stores are intentionally telling people not to buy Razrs because ICS is soooooo bad at version 211.

I have not heard a thing. I just upgraded to 215 yesterday and so far it's running much better for me. Maybe there will be another leak before the actual update goes out?

I haven't had an issue on .215 or .211. I don't see what the deal. is. I thought I had a signal issue on .215, but it happened on .211 after I rolled back. Found out from VZW that there was a particular tower issue in that area. Mine works fine. I don't know what the hype is.

Antivirus programs are being programed to block sites that allow "unlicensed" software downloads, just ignore it and go thru even Eset (which is WAY better then that Norton crap) flags a few sites from time to time, Just remember this .215 leak isn't gonna be an official release ever so when the next update (since it has been announced and confirmed that the entire RAZR lineup will be getting Jelly Bean at some point) you will have to fastboot back to .211 before doing the Official JB update whenever it comes.

ESET smart security is junk. It sees the DNS on our fiber to the home network as IP conflicts cause every computer on the network has the same DNS. Well duh! That's the way it's supposed to be.

This update makes my signal/ data drop constantly. Anyone else?

EDIT:

Sorry I just got a new Maxx from insurance and after flashing multiple ROM's I realized that it was the phone not the ROM. My apologies.

This should not be happening. If anything the radios are better on .215 for most. You may want to try a factory reset...

Has anyone had trouble with audio playback when using headphones?

I didn't have any trouble before applying this 215 leak, but now, no matter what rom I choose, none of them work with headphones. The audio just comes out of the phone speaker.

Also, when using a custom rom, I get little to no signal of any kind (3g or 4g), go back to stock and it works fine. Again, this started since upgrading to 215.

This signal issue is some how the rom...but the audio definitely has to be this 215.

Anyone else having such trouble? Any ideas how to fix it (without flashing back to 211)?

I've been on the .215 leak for a long time and never had this problem with any roms I use.

You should not be having issues. .215 has been downloaded and installed a ton of times without issue...

For the headphone issue take a small pin and put it inside the headphone jack carefully and make sure there is not a lint ball at the bottom. Also you can try compressed air.

If those don't work I would try a factory reset.

Worst case is there is a hardware problem with your headphone jack.

Like I said, the signal issue I believe is the ROM as the signal is fine when I safestrap back to stock. Also, as I am typing this, I flashed the latest BlackWidow and the signal is now coming in nicely.

As for the headphone jack: I've cleaned it out (I actually have case that covers the port when it's not in use, as well). But still no matter what, headphones fail.
