Verifying current system...
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/BackupAssistanceClient.apk", "8a82ea1d.....,"6fd47......")
E:Error in /tmp/sideoad/package.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
The /system/app/BackupAssistanceClient.apk file is there. I'm running .211. Rooted but I disable root with VoodooOTA. Any ideas how to get past this?

Are you stock .211? Compete Stock? Did you wipe data/ cache twice in stock recovery after you fastbooted?

Just an FYI. I flashed to .215 (main reason was to try and fix GPS issues, however that did not work). So I flashed back to .211 and now GPS locks on instantly, phone seems snappier, and 4g signal appears to be more reliable. Not sure if anyone else has tried this/experienced it, but I figured I would share.
What gps problems did you have on 215? Gps is critical for me.

I did this upgrade when it first came out.
I have been issue free since then (2 months?)
Now I get (not all the time), what appears to be static-like overscan lines at the bottom 1/10th of the screen. They are not there all the time, and are there for minutes when they are.
SInce the phone was new, is the phone going bad, is this this an issue reported with others? I have not installed any new system utilties (keyboard, etc) or changed screen background, nbott image, etc etc. That has all been fine for 2 months.
If it is something simple, rather than me unrooting, going back to full stock to see, I would rather fix the simple than go through all that.
Thanks

once the update is downloaded to the pc, should i drag the zip file to the sd card, or a particular file in the download? please help...
The whole download, then reboot into stock recovery and flash it.
To get into stock recovery, power the phone off.
Press and hold the volume down and power button at the same time for about 9 seconds.
When the screen flickers, let go of those 2 buttons and quickly press and hold all 3 side buttons (power, vol+, vol-).
Now in the bootloader, use volume- button to select "Recovery" and press volume+ to select it.
When on the screen with the little android guy, press both volume buttons at the same time.
You're now in stock recovery.
Flash the update.
Reboot.
Profit
Hope that helps!
