Question: I have always been stock and I installed the .215 leak onto my phone and wish to switch back to stock .211. What is the easiest way to do this/will this wipe all my data? (because when I updated to .215, none of my data got wiped). Thanks.

the ONLY way to revert back to .211 (stock) after flashing .215 is a full fastboot which WILL WIPE EVERYTHING.

Anyone have an alternate link? The link in the OP doesn't seem to be working.

Thanks for the info...is there a link with instructions on how to do a fastboot/do I need to download any files for this? Thanks again.

I'm trying to flash back to the 4.04 OTA. Does anyone know why I'm getting this error message? I have the phone connected and in AP Fastboot mode and I installed the drivers. Any suggestions? Sorry first timer. Thanks.

Try rebooting the computer or run version 1.81 as a Admin. That might fix it.

Try not using the Failsafe edition. Use the regular 1.81 utility. See if it works then.

It did not unzip correctly it is missing moto-fastboot.exe in the folder. Here is a link to drop box with correctly unpacked 1.81 files.

What does the file look like within the folder, or are you saying 1.81 from a different link? sorry for so many questions.

Just an FYI. I flashed to .215 (main reason was to try and fix GPS issues, however that did not work). So I flashed back to .211 and now GPS locks on instantly, phone seems snappier, and 4g signal appears to be more reliable. Not sure if anyone else has tried this/experienced it, but I figured I would share.
Wouldn't surprise me much, TBH, I look at fastbooting like reformating and reinstalling windows, which always runs better with a fresh install versus installing an update over a previous version IE going from GB to ICS via OTA is less desirable then simply fastbooting ICS, If that makes any sense at all.

About the only problem I'm having is the mute issue within youtube and other apps. Easily fixed by going into the Settings and moving the volume slider back and forth.

Not entirely accurate. The ICS Fxz is missing the command step to delete the internal storage. So not EVERYTHING is erased. Sometimes apps even remain

The 215 leak has been running beautifully since installing it six weeks ago. The phone is a joy to use. The problem is that I'm bored now. Me wants another leak soon. Anyone have any super secret inside information about another potential leak soon? Wondering if 215 will eventually be an OTA update.
