Upgrade went smoothly, didn't want to wait for the 1.81 Utility to finish downloading so I used 1.7 without any problems rooting or anything. Right off the bat 4G is working in the 2 areas of the house that I could only get 3G before. Pretty nice!

If you want a great ROM with even better battery life try out Liquid 1.5 which can be found in the ROM section of Rootzwiki. It is CM9 based and if you have tried a Liquid ROM in the past I don't need to tell you how awesome they are.

I did this same set up yesterday and liking it so far. Only thing I noticed is on stock 215 the screenshots were not cropped as soon as I installed liquid screenshots were cropped and broken again. Anyone else with a rom on 215 have cropped SS still? I'm also pulling slightly stronger 4g all over. On 211 I was pulling 3-5 down and 2-6 up at home now 5-7 down and 6-12 up at home. Pulled a Max of 24.3 down and 18 up in my "sweet spot"

All AOSP roms built from source have the screenshot issue, no matter what base you install over. The roms built off Motorola builds don't have that issue

i applied it over .211 without wiping data.

i also didn't Re-enable Disabled apps. After the update those programs were still Disabled.

I did the same however, my issue is my Webtop 3.0 is no longer working. So i was wondering if i should just start from scratch or fast boot back to .211? im lazy haha

Are you FULLY stock, including NO safestrap recovery? Have you frozen or removed ANY bloatware what-so-ever? If you have any of these items, then it won't work.

Your best bet is to get Matt's utility (v1.8) and use option 1 to reset your system back to full stock, unrooted, no recovery. Then apply the update.

Coming from .211, and not changing anything but wiping cache before updating - battery life is definitely not better. I have barely any apps on my phone, and barely used the phone yesterday and it still was down to 10% well before bedtime. Starting to miss the GB battery life... I would normally wipe completely after an update so maybe I'll try that next.

See what a couple of full battery charges does. I let mine die a couple of times then charge to 100%.

Battery life usually settles after a day or two. That's what I've noticed anyway.

I'm in .215 now but when I use apex launcher and long press for widgets the white text on white background is back. I'm not on Arctic ROM anymore where this intiially happened... anyone know a fix?

First thing I'd do is clear data and cache in the app. If problem persists try uninstalling and reinstalling then a reboot.

I think that's actually a known problem with ICS. I've experienced it on several ROMS and stock, Arctic is actually the only ROM I didn't experience it on.

Is it just me or did the lockscreen move down a little bit on .215?
