I have Safestrap installed. How do I boot to moto-recovery so I can flash .215? I thought I could go into safestrap and select it thru advanced menu but that didn't work.

Uninstall safestrap recovery and app.

Power off phone
hold both vol+ and vol- and press power key
select recovery from menu
when the android shows up press both vol button
PROFIT !!

I did a reset and got back to 211 I go into moto recovery I try and install the update I get an error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted

On my external sd card, I do have safestrap installed but disabled. I was able to get into moto recovery.

I got that same error until I used Matt's utility 1.8 to get back to stock .211, I think there was some missing file(s) not letting it work... let me guess, it hangs at Verifying Current System, and then you get the error?

having safestrap installed but disabled is not stock. "Fastboot or RSD back to stock .211" you have to remove safestrap completely. been mentioned several times...
