Other than putting this on my phone being very easy i will tell you this.

I regret doing it. Should have stayed stock.
There are no improvements. All the reports of smoother interface and better radios are totally unfounded on my end. TBH my phone is less stable.

This is a leak of ICS for droid 4, not our razrs. I suggest waiting for the real ota to be available and not to waste your time on this.

Its buggy with no improvements. Wipe cache and all, nothing got better. Somethings got worse. Battery life is identical.

Simple enough to go back to .211

I would sat battery life was really bad yesterday but I did the update yesterday. I let it die and did a charge for 7 hours and its about the same as .214. But I do notice LTE signal is pretty good, not by the bars but stable connection and going from 3g to LTE.
I do not notice much speed difference. But then again I did factory resets after. 211 and. 214 installs and every time I did the factory reset, the phone itself is snappier. So i can't comment too much on speed.

.215 seems to hold a stronger 4G connection for me in central Ohio. Also downloads seem a little bit faster over .211. To soon to tell about battery life, but its certainly no worse.

Thread opened back up, negative feedback is still there. If your comment was deleted, it was due to the fact that it was either part of the problem, or contributing to the problem (fueling the fire.)

Don't let this thread get out of hand guys. Post your feedback, leave it at that. No need for arguing or telling someone that their findings are wrong. Just post your feedback for people to read, or post whatever issue you're having so it can get resolved. Simple as that. Have a good one!

This is running great on my RAZR. Can't really complain about battery, although it seems about the same to me. I go through a charge in about 14 hours on weekends regardless. I did double check my system version though, just to make sure it did say 6.16.215xt912. Lol.

And my last post was made over 4g from my bathroom, where I had no 4g on 211.

Used AP Fastboot and Matt's Utility (1.8.1) option 1. Then wiped data from from the utility and it reported "you are now at stock .211). Trying to get into recovery and it's sitting with an Android icon with the red exclamation mark.

One huge difference I've noticed between .215 and the previous builds is the reliability of the VZW paid hotspot feature. I just completed a drive between Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA (about 5 hours). Phone maintained a strong connection with no data drops, no lockups, and successful LTE/EvDO handoffs along the way. Normally this trip required multiple app resets and the occasional reboot. I ditched my Pantech LTE aircard a few months ago that I normally used with my mounted toughbook in lieu of using the hotspot feature and saving $50 a month. Very impressed with this build. Haven't had the chance to test battery life yet, but this is enough reason to hang on this build for a while.

I had similar issues with 211/214. Surprisingly 215 was a massive change for me (positive) without having to wipe anything or change settings. I've encouraged a few of my fellow users and friends to load 215 even though we don't have a rollback package for it now that fastboot files are available.

Well I'm on stock 215 full bloat still and 2 hours into fresh instal and this is my quadrant. I'm seeing faster connection to 4g upon reboot but speeds don't seem any better for me on 4g. Overall liking this so far. Debating installing a rom over 215 just don't know if the rom will change any of the updates from 215.

I installed .215 yesterday. So far today, I'm at 90% after 5h 40m of light to moderate use. I switched from WIFI to 4G about 2 hours ago.

I would like to see some documentation about 215 being for droid 4. I find nothing.

Its probably because the only people who are aware of this are the devs at moto. Who i speak to on a daily basis. They tell me the feedback on RAZR ICS is being used to make D4 builds. Thats what is leaking. RAZR will more than likely end up with a separate build.

And just so everyone knows the quadrants are identical or actually worse than .211

Antutu benchmarks dropped over 300 points on my phone with 215.

Battery is about dead, 10 hours short of where it used to be. 14h this time, i usually got 24h or more on .211.

WiFi is very very spotty. It was messed up on .211 but now it works about %10 of the time properly. This may be a personal issue that needs to be solved however.

Data is worse, less drops but weaker connections. Seeing 3g most of the time where i used to have 4 bars of 4g...

So just to sum this up. On .211 i had some problems, none with battery, none with data. Only things i had issues with was apps crashing and my wifi was a little strange. After .215, i have less battery life so far(yes, time to set in, we will see how much that changes anything...)

And as for those of you that going back to .211 is easy thats awesome for you. With the 1.81 utility and everything set up correctly i have never been able to root my device. So i just may be stuck on this sketchy build.

Here's my score from last night after installing .215. I had zero problems with .211, .214, and now .215.

This is not a Droid 4 leak. Part of the upgrade check process is looking at the build prop to make sure your phone is a RAZR.
