Still messing with this and can't quite figure out what i am doing wrong. All permissions have been set and the other apk's wee renamed but when I load the Circles widget it is telling me that it does not support 3rd party launchers. The Atrix launcher is the only one I have right now. Any ideas?

By the way I am stock/rooted right now. No Rom.

Adding widgets on this homescreen is kinda buggy. When you drag out the widget from the normal widget selection screen, a new scroll list pops up and the text on the list doesn't get rendered properly. It's an unnecessary step that gets added for some reason.

Hey Matt, you working on on getting the improved icons/quick view? I'm not up to par on how you extract those from builds....

Awesome job on the home screen though!

you install from sD card not as a system app. The op explains this.

I have a way to make it work, however it breaks the circle3dwidget.

LOOKS GREAT! but the weather isn't working. It says when I try to install the weather apk it says it already exists and that I can't install it. Now the weather doesn't work on the widget.

Got all 3 (homescreen, weather, and circlewidget) installed and stock weather disabled. The app works but whenever I try to add the location for weather it gives me an error (see image). BTW super nice and the swipe on the circles is sweet!

Matt you need the odex for the weather to work you just have the apk. The stock is a totally different apk.

Got it!!! Idk how...

I first cleared cached, force stopped, then uninstalled the circlewidget, then same with weather...
Cleared phone cache...
Went back to zip (did one thing different); first time I extracted only the 3 apk's (minus fav contacts), this time i extracted all.
Then installed weather first, then circlewidget.
Wiped cache and rebooted via power + down volume + hold
Put widget on homescreen and it worked fine

Note: stockhomescreen.apk left as is, but stockweather.apk & stockweather.odex I added .bak to both then cleared cache and rebooted as said above...

Everything works great ...and as usual I over-explained the process making it lengthy (gotta learn to be brief)

Hey, guys...not sure if you saw my earlier post or not, but you can get this widget from an app on the Play Store...it's called One More Clock. The only features it has it time, weather (of current location) and battery %. FYI
