ZK will CPU sleeper for quad core work on a dual core phone?

I am loving this rom except I am having issues with it freezing up.  I will hit the power button to turn the screen on but it won't come on.  I end of having to reboot the phone.  It had happened several times so far.  At least three time just this morning alone.  Any Ideas??? Thanks.

Mine has done this as well. It has also gone to a limbo mode. I can see a faint view what what I would when all is well. If I hit the power button it does nothing at all until I hold it long enough to shutdown.

Where were they in the original build? What kind of files are they?

lol... i don't know.. I searched my phone for hours and couldn't figure it out.

I just noticed that my Ext SD card appeared to be wiped. I rebooted and still had a blank Ext SD card. However, I mounted the Ext SD card in settings and it mounted ok with all the files there!

mhmm..... weird moment for yah, lol

Why did they take the map profile out in the first place...it makes nooooo sense!

This has happened a few times to me as well - on each of the last two builds.  I did do a complete rebuild of the ROM slot prior to installing the latest version, so that didn't work for me.

I have had the same problem with all of the 4.4 ROMs.  It is only a few apps for me.  Most of them are older games.  I wonder if they are not compatible with 4.4 yet?  Almost all of my other apps install fine.

 

I'm no longer getting this issue with the 12/14 build.

Sorry, I didn't see that question. Probably because I only have just now click on the "Follow Topic"

 

My understanding is that it should be ok because it just shuts off the other cores and leaves CPU0 running when the screen is off. I'm sure the language says to shut off CPU1, CPU2, and CPU3. Even though we don't have CPU2 and 3, it shouldn't do anything. You might see an error if following adb, but I don't think anything else will happen.

Also, do your recent builds include the large numbered % battery option like Gummy?

3 freezes on the 12/14 version in the last 2 days. Basically the screen starts to dim after a period of no use...The screen doesnt turn off completely and just freezes. Twice this happened in the gmail app

Initially yes, but clearing my MMS programs cache seemed to solve that issue. I am however getting notifications for a system update from gummy 1.0.6 to 1.0.5, which doesn't seem quite right!

It's nice that the updater is functional, just need versions straightened out!

Initially I've been having issues with the media scanner making duplicates of songs. Just did a clean reinstall, however, so we'll see if that persists.

Is anybody else having issues with Gmail crashing on the 20131221 build? i have cleared cache then re-flashed and re-flashed the GAPs but it still crashes....

Its been working well for me. Have you tried uninstalling it and getting it from play store?

Is there anyone out there who wants to test a new build built this morning? I don't have access to my XT912 at the moment. I've changed a few things around. I've added my modified version of ROM control which has Viper4android audio, so beats is gone. I've also removed CPU sleeper and replaced that with an init.d script which should do the same thing. i just need to know if it all works. Reply to this message. I'll begin uploading it soon.
