I haven't tried any thing other than 240, but if you changed it from the original what, like 162 and it went from a small font to 240 and it made it bigger, than just adjust it one setting higher. I remember the property value settings had several different ones to choose from and just go up one setting higher and allow it to reboot until you find one you like. Just a theory.

Yeah, it takes longer, but I like it. I haven't tried the CM 11 because its not a stable build, but neither is the Gummy. I've gone through the Gummy with no camera and WiFi issues, but other than that, it's great and I've only had to soft boot a couple of times.

The Gummy you have doesn't have the camera or WiFi issues though.

Just checked again, and found that prop build is not saving the 240 settings after reboot.  i doubled checked and saved again, confirmed save, but it just wont hold 240 and reverts back to 182.   I am really having a hard time seeing the display even with the large font.  It isn't large at all.   What file managers are u using?  I already tried my Rom toolbox and Es File Explorer.

I am now in Build Properties because editing the file doesn't seem to hold upon save and reboot.

Screen showing:

Property Name  (ro.sf.lcd.density)

Property Value: 182

Default value: 160

Can I try changing the Proeprty value to 240.  If I do so, what should  I set the other value to?

Update:  Was finally able to change it using Root manager  Whew!!

Edit your build.prop with smanager... free on playstore. Use a file explore to find build.prop then open as text and use the smanager script editor. It should stick. :)

EDIT...Oops...just saw you got it! Lol!

Thanks!  Now I can see!!

However Tibu Pro is complaining that it doesn't like 4.4 and it is suggesting I try SuperSu.  I know nothing about superSu and fear it will cause conflicts.  Should I be afraid to install it and watch my system blow up?

BUGGY!!!

Error on boot:  Process system isn't responding, do u want to close it?  Choices are Wait or Yes. Neither clears the error.  Do u know what this means?

Also, the su binary is out of date.  When I attempt to update, phone reboots and once again I see above error.  I have no idea if they are related.

Can i uninstall Superuser and reinstall it?   Also, Tibu is asking for SuperSu versus Superuser.  _ I need aspirins!

What the devil are there to apps named Superuser (different owners) in the Play store?  Which is this Rom m dependent upon?

Gummy Cm11 version installed and ran with no glitches.  Gummy is not doing the same.   I havent even gotten to load my apps r check the camera.  LOL   Gonna be a long nite!!  I sure  hope I find a response to ease my pain:-)

My phone does the same thing on process system isn't responding. It takes about two minutes to fully load. Just hit wait. The system is granting user permissions. I have never used Tibu. Super SU is fine. All you are doing is allowing the program to open so you can modify the contents within the folder. Nothing will mess up as long as you know what it is that you are trying to modify.

If I need to install Super Su  would I lose root.  i searched the web and so far am not able to find the correct process to do it.  Also, are u saying that SuperSu will work with thee gummy roms?  If it does, Slot 1 runs Aviator CM11 which supports Superuser.  This seems like a potential ship wreck:-)

This Rom also take a LONGGGGGG time to load.  Cm11 is much faster.  Wonder why that is?

All you need to do is flash SuperSu after you flash the rom.

No, you shouldn't lose root. Super SU came on my install of Aviator Gummy. You downloaded the same one as me. You should've had it as well.

Thanks for your responses.  Rom seems awesome and loaded with features, so I would really like to delete Slot 1/CM and just use Gummy to gain space.  But, before that, I just want to make sure it runs OK.  So, and I have lots of questions as I move along with this rom.  Sorry to ask so many questions, but it's still  learning process...

What is the deal with CPU sleeper?  Do settings need to be changed?

CPU sleeper is burned into the ROM. I don't believe there any adjustments to be made. I remember that on the CM10.1. Not on Gummy though.

I'm still learning as well. I just flashed my phone to PagePlus on my own a month ago and the SAFESTRAP and custom ROM'S just over two weeks ago and look at how much I've helped you. Only a months experience with flashing phones and ROMS. The employees at PagePlus' stores in town don't believe I flashed a Droid RAZR to their service and they are blown away that I'm running Android 4.4 I inquired about a job since I seem more knowledgeable than them, I get the whole we're not looking for anyone right now.

If you go to the OP and read the changelog it will tell you what all has been fixed on each version.
