Dude you're killing it!! Aviator seems to be the go to rom for the OG guys and you're always pushing forward with a newer version. I just hope those jet engines don't melt all those kit-kat bars!!

Hi- can I flash this to slot 2.  I have Aviator on slot 1 and wanted to give this a try.  If I prefer this rom can I dirty flash it over Z cm11 rom?

* Slot 2 Yes you can
* Create a New Slot...should always Wipe when changing to 2 different ROMs...No Dirty Flashing
* Do a Nandroid first

which gapp do I install? the OP shows 2 (I did install both) but now with the issues I'm redownloading. going to the Dev page, it shows only 1 gapp for gummy. also, can't download the gapps it keeps showing the web page is down.

And better to stay the heck away from it. This will almost certainly break root and put OG Razr users in the same" No Root coming" boat as HD and M users currently are.

 

If you like Roms DO NOT take this OTA!!!

Does this rom not have google integration? I followed all install instructions and Under "add accounts" the only 2 I can add is corporate and IMAP . I used gapps12-08 from your dev site. I don't have a play store app . Gmail app just FC when I try to open.

It sounds like the gapps didn't flash?? I'm guessing you've tried flashing the gapps again?

Yea tried that. Gonna try a fresh install of both

Edit - created a fresh slot and reinstalled everything and still getting the same errors. Going to try re-downloading the gapps package

Is this ROM slot specific? I keep trying to install in slot 2 and no luck.

As you can see from my signature I've been hanging out in the Macintosh world (iphone5) for the last six months due to a new company phone. As of Christmas that bad boy is jailbroke/rooted and is my daily driver . I still have aviator Blur on slot One and have had it since the start .only thing I ever really use this phone for letting the kids play some games and occasionally surfing the web, so it's not a Do or die situation. Just wanted to familiarize myself with what's new

Edit. What I was getting at is that it can be very hard to go back from operating system to operating system because the layout, lingo and processes are so much different

CM10.2 needed slot 1, but these KK ROMs aren't bound by that.

 

What version of SafeStrap are you on? you need to be on the latest SS 3.65

I can't get YouTube to work deleted it wiped cache rebooted installed again videos won't play says theres a problem while playing try again, any ideas

Running current nightly, I thinks it is awesome. However, anyone else getting "unfortunately, Google+ has stopped" repeatedly? Updated gapps, cleared G+ app settings/cache, cleared dalvik/cache, deleted/downloaded latest version... No dice, cannot open Google+, and when it attempts to do whatever it does in the background, the error pops up. I liked using it to automatically backup my photos.

Hi, I am really a noob at this.  This is my first attempt at flashing.  I did it because my performance on the Stock ROM was abysmal.  Phone freezing all the time, etc. Things seem to be working OK but I do have a couple of questions.

 

1) In the instructions it says  - 

1. Go into Settings>CPU Sleeper. Check "Enable auto-start on reboot" (First Line), then "Start Service" (Second Line) (Press twice).

I cannot find that setting anywhere.  Can you point me in the right direction.  I'm going into Settings in the Applications.

 

2) Was I supposed to flash both GAPPS files or just the latest one?  I just did the latest one. I have no Google Maps or Nav, You Tube, etc etc.  Is there a list of the GAPPS I should expect to see?

 

3) I am in the car alot with my phone.  I have the Motorola Car Dock that you can buy as an accessory for the phone.  When in stock, I put the phone in and it goes into Vehicle Mode.  Here nothing happens.  I am looking at a few after market Vehicle mode apps, but still not getting the desired result.  Should I be looking at a Blurry ROM for this functionality?

I myself have all kinds of stuff going on YouTube don't work_ anytime I open an app go launcher ask to be default have hit that tons of times, I get some process thing going on I keep losing wifi this build is too buggy for my phone had a hell of a time with titanium backup

Thanks for the info, and I'm going to show more noobiness.

 

On the Gapps...does it matter which file I flash if I only need one?   and forgive me....what does its noted in the OP mean?

 

I flashed the newest gapps, and like I said, I am not seeing google maps or you tube, and who knows what else.  Thank you for your patience with me.
