Is there a location in the options to set the usb mode? On the newest ROM I seem to have a successful MTP connection, but I don't get a notification and can't find any options in the settings. Is it still possible to do a direct file transfer on KitKat?

I flashed the Rom all seems to be working well, but my sounds are not working I always take the media files out of the Rom's and ad about 5 in System/media/audio/ringtones and notifications directory's I like, have been doing this in all the Rom's I have ever flashed after deleting them and placing the ones I like in the notifications and ringtones directory's I reboot and they work,  I did the same thing with this Rom and I'm not getting any sound play back when added to a task.... I don't know what else to try I do know when placing them in the directory there is a hangouts video call added that I didn't ad that one works. but no other files play when added to something like sound / phone ringtone the file I pick plays in the directory when clicking it but when my phone rings I get nothing. could somebody test this and see if they have the same issue.. or have any idea whats going on

Well Stock is a good place to start...

 

Keep in mind when your Delete an App In Stock that is being used in other ROMs/Slots...Titanium will draw a Line thru those Apps...Not a big deal other than you Manually have to flash..Just an FYI

 

Space...

I do know if your Backing up your ROM's into Internal SD that's huge on Space...Work Emails, Gmails, Yahoo to mention a few takes up Space too...Clean up the Unnecessary Apps...

 

KB Apps are not your problem...the ones to look for are MB's...those you will see in...

 

* Settings

* Apps

* All

* Time to Clean up Apps you Do Not Use

 

Keep in mind...

Apps in Stock take Space just as Apps do in Custom Slots...being the same App in different ROM's takes Space too even tho its the same App...

Each ROM supports their own amount Space with MB's/KB's with Apps in Custom and Stock...

 

Try this for seeking Space in SD...

 

Its Called: DiskUsage...

Gives you everything you have in your System telling you what's Using your Space...

 

Currently I have Stock Slot and 3 Custom ROMs...All are my Daily Drives...Each Week I chose one to be the Road Warrior of the Week...

I have always stored my files on my external card. There is very little on the stock side, yet it takes up so much space, therefore I have little on the Rom side.  I have always stored my Roms on the external (and on server), so they are always readily available.Unfortunately, this is only an 8gb phone, so I am stuck with what I have.  that's why I wish I could run it as a stock rom-I would gain so much space!   thanks for all your help an explanations.

Morning, Yes that's the first thing I did. Same issue I'm going to try rings extended app see if I can get them to work that way.

If nothing at all happened after the editor tool, you didn't restart the phone...or you didn't have r/w and it didn't save

Very Possible I missed a Step...Can't remember but I thought I did do a Reboot...

 

Had a few interruptions downloading..that's a possibility...Maybe I will Create a New Slot and Flash again...

Yes, remember to check ES file explorer>menu>root=on>press root again (not the on/off but the word) and then Mount R/W and make sure its checked RW.

Then open build.prop. menu and edit. Save then reboot.

yes. known issue.

 

it does take the picture and you can see if afterwards, but not during the shot.

No I didn't miss this Step I did a Total Drive By...Wow!!!

 

So use to the Regular System Font this one caught me...So yes, I did miss this step...However, Learned another process...Awesome!!!

You are correct with the Editor Tool in Next Launcher...Did Save...

 

But it was a System Font within Gummy that I missed...

love the build, more than AOKP. few issues though......

*can't install any app from play store. acts like it, but I never see the download arrow in the status bar.
*same FC from system when I boot up. no problems with it though.
*would really like to turn the shutter sound off on the camera.
*would greatly love to remove both alarm notifications in the status bar. the one on the right and the up coming notification.
*would be nice to be able to have no icon for the battery and just use the battery bar.
*how can I add apps to the lock screen (ie: camera, SMS, dial)? right now I only have a lock.
*while looking at pics/videos is there a way to rename them? I know I can go through ES but then u have to remember that long numerical file number.
*voice dialer doesn't work. Opens up, but never starts the mic.

A few questions I noticed my lockscreen font colors dont change the settings are there to change them just dont work also no way to add an image background as I could on  cm-11-20131230-NIGHTLY-spyder. or CM 10.1 I'm loving this rom though I have not had a single lock up or FC yet on anything. did notice battery draining a bit fast.

 

in the lockscreen after typing in the password there was a setting where it just logs you in I have to hit the arrow afterwards is that setting in this

 

 

I cant find these settings >>>Go into Settings>CPU Sleeper. Check "Enable auto-start on reboot" (First Line), then "Start Service" (Second Line) (Press twice).
