I know this might be already posted in here but I can't find it. Or more likely I'm just a noob, but can this work on any version of the leaked ICS? I think I'm still on .75 leak. I took a while off from modding phones.

EDIT: Found my answer.

Anyone know how long it takes approx?

So i used Option 1 and now my battery jumps from 100-90, 50-40, 20, 5 then shuts off, in a matter of minutes. My battery worked fine before until flashing back to .211. I've flashed multiple ROMs in hopes of a fix but i still have the same problem. Does this mean i should buy a new battery?

I would try plugging into a wall charger..... dont touch it untill it is completely charged........ go from there.... sometimes these batteries are, well, finickey to say the least...

I have not had any battery issues..... and i dont believe that the utility is causing any battery issues at all... . I have used both the wildows AND the linux version countless times and have never had any issues at all..... so it sounds like some people are recieving defective batteries.... not using the cable that comes with the phone... its also a good idea to clear any "junk" residing in the computer prior to using the utility i.e. restart the computer..... and also reboot the phone prior to using the utility.....

I had tried the full battery charge and reboots as suggested, but it didn't work.. I then tried it again after re-flashing back to stock with no luck :/

This is an ICS calibration issue. You need to let your device drain completely, then charge it with a wall charger to 100%, charge for 1 more hour (this works best if you charge with device off, not using it), then reset battery stats, one of 3 ways:

1. Use the app Battery Calibration, from Play Store.
2. Use the Erase Battery Stats option in SS recovery.
3. Erase the battery file from system using a file explorer. I don't recall the exact file, but I also think it's #3 of the choices.

After you erase battery stats, you need to unplug device and not charge until you are at 10% or less, or completely drained again. At that point, your battery should be properly calibrated.

Something to do whenever you change build or ROM. The upgrade from GB to ICS was particularly problematic depending on what ROM you use, which is not surprising since it was a major upgrade.

Definitely. Not doing it, mine has run empty in as few as 3 hours. Calibrating can get you 3x-5x the duration, especially if you're like me and don't like making dozens of battery saving tweaks, ie, I do nothing to help the situation.

This may help to understand calibration a bit.

It's not recommended to do this too often though. A read through of the entire site will help.

Just finished trying what stealthmouse suggested.
1. Let it drain
2. Fully recharged for 3 hours with phone off.
3. Wiped battery stats in SS then rebooted, only to have 50% battery show up.
4. Drained the battery by watching a movie off the SD card. it did a jump to 20 then slowly dropped to 5% before shutting down.
5. Allowed a full recharge with phone powered down.
6. Rebooted with 100% then got halfway through a song before dropping straight to 50.
Did I do something wrong? :l I'm thinking I should take another crack at it and wipe cache as well as satman suggests.
