I am all good ran the .bat file from a cmd screen instead of trying to right click batch lol silly me but I am all rooted and loaded up to. 215 leak upgrade so thx for this awesome util Matt!!!

I had to use a previous version to get my phone working, but it's up now. I've got the OTA ICS on my RAZR, and will probably try to put Eclipse or Arctic ICS on it after work.

Hey matt... Ive used your utility 1.7 to try and unbrick my droid razr xt912 and it has not worked. I chose option 2 and everything ran smoothly but it still just goes dark after the moto logo start up. I rebooted into recovery and wiped cache and rebooted. It still goes dark. nothing I do has fixed this.

ive now tried to use your fix for soft brick 6.16.211 over 5 times. it has gone smoothly everytime. nothing failed and when i boot into recovery it supposedly installs it. it all worked fine. go to boot up, gets to moto logo, takes a little bit, then black. I have no clue what to do now because it seems your utility is the only thing out here.

Webtop fails for me, and the phone softbricks. I get past the dual-core screen, to the screen with the wire-model turning in front of the android with the progress bar, then all I ever get is back to the dual-core screen which takes me to a black screen. I never see the OS, or an error screen.

Can anyone assist?

go to turn your phone on then press vol up + vol down at the same time to get into the [bootmode screen] then with the volume down button go to recovery and with the volume up button select it. once you see the droid "andy" on his back press volume up + volume down at the same time then select [factory restore] click yes. this will not delete apps or personal things it will make your phone take the update. you may have to [factory restore] mulitple times. i did this and had ics ofw but i rooted and now im softbricked. or hard by now. i suggest using mattgroffs utility

Once you get to the 'soft-brick' you need to reboot into moto-recovery and install the ROM. You should be good to go then.

Utility worked great for me, wiped entire system, used option 1 to go back to 211, reloaded 215 and them rooted with utility. Not a single problem......Thanks Matt...you da man......

Did you extract DroidRazrUtility archive correctly? It's stating it can't find ADB which exists in the \DroidRazrUtility directory. I would go and download it again from here:

Then, extract the contents, ensuring that your unzip utility is extracting the files WITH their directory names as well. Navigate to the DroidRazrUtility directory via Windows Explorer and double click on the DroidRAZRUtility.bat file like you did before.

Here's a screen shot of the directory I have:

Open up a command prompt but run as admin and then navigate to that directory and run the bat file that way!!!

hmm, I do have anything set to block any sort of DL but it is working on my 4g and not my home wifi. Strange. Thanks for the idea though!

it is extremely slow... maybe just doesn't SEEM to be working.

when i unzip the file i don't have a file listed as .bat just droid razr utility I could only install 1 of the drivers and when i run it through op. 2 i get a waiting for device message please help i have tried on 3 different computers and i get the same thing and i have tried going into ap fastboot as well just so yall know this is my 1st root. i am running on 6.16.215 and i have watched all of the videos please help and thank you in advance
