Having issues flashing 3.7 as well. It says:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error executing updater binary in zip etc.

TWRP 2.5.0.0

Downloaded 3.7 and tried again, and I got the same error. That's the error I was getting before as well. Don't think I could have 3 bad downloads as they were all at different times. I'll just keep tinkering...it gives me something to do

I get exact same error as Bigdamneys13, System not mounted if I dont mount system, Set metadata some changes failed status 7 if i DO mount system, can someone point me to what am I doing wrong here?

I'm not sure guys. Seems funny that there could be 2 bad downloads. All I can tell you is I'm using Twrp 2.6.3.0, full wipe. I can't honestly remember if I had to unmount system or not. I know I did on a ROM recently but I'm sometimes a crack flasher

OK I just read near the end of the Beanstalk thread that one guy was getting status 7 until he updated his cwm. Hope that helps

I've tried TWRP 2.6.3.0 and 2.6.3.1 as well as CWM. 6.0.4.4 and 6.0.4.6 (Philz touch CWM) All of them throw the same error. "Set meta data recursive; some changes failed. Status 7"

Where did you find 2.6.3.1 and 6.0.4.6 (Philz touch CWM) ? I too tried 2.6.3.0 and cwm 6.0.4.4 to get same result as you did, i am sorta crackflasher too so its not like i dont know what i am doing either, other roms flash just fine, Validus

flashed just fine too untill couple updates back. I am so hoping Somber figures this out for us as this was my daily driver

For the life of me, I can't remember where I found 2.6.3.1, but I got Philz touch at goo manager. devs/PhilzTouch/xt926

is there any real difference between 2.6.3.0 and 2.6.3.1? also if I am better off with later can you pm me? THANKs in advance, Now only if Somber finds some time to fix this ROM, last time I got this error was on slim rom and I had to give up on that one.

Failed by my own ignorance, lol. I saw the .1 and assumed it was in fact 2.6.3.1
