RSD lite doesn't recognize phone. under phone info it's all n/a.

It does not matter what rsd lite says if you have the X2 sbf file it will run.
And for your second question noooooooooooooooo lol it will make the device do a bsckflip and jump off the desk and try to start thermal nuclear war with china. So not a good idea. Just type " how to unbrick a Droid X2 " in Google m sure you will find a sure fire method. Actually I will post back a link.

I know I had the sbf file at one time and might have deleted it figureing phone is a gonner. At the time I looked everywhare to try to fix. Did posts in xda, droid forums and mydroidworld and couldn't really get a for sure anwser then battery died so I gave up and got a razor, which I like way better than the x2. Just was hoping if someone knew a fix offhand. It's been about 6 months since then and probably a lot more info is out there now.

I found this thread at Droid Forums. It might help you. Sorry to link off site.
Edit: if your bttery is dead you may need a Motorola Factory Cable.

Insted of makeing my jumper at the connector I'll splice it a little father back on the cable and have one solder spot on pin 4. I think this should work the same?

working on my cable now. The pin with no wire on it next to the white wire I'm assuming is pin 4.

I used my old x2 cable. I made this cable to try and unbrick the x2 since it has a dead battery. And I can use on the razor if I get in a pinch.
Just to make sure the empty pin next to the white wire is pin 4 right?
only thing left is a continuity test make sure nothing is shorted out, then the real test on the x2.

In the writeup he said "we're putting +5V DC on pin 4, and only 17 thousandths of an inch away is ground on pin 5".
The only open pin is next to a white wire which is negitive the ground is black and is on the other side. So I'm not sure if he got ground and negitive mixed up by accident or I have a wrong cable????
I did a post over at XDA in the link wyld gave me and no anwser yet.

Hello, I have a Droid Razr Maxx (CDMA) and I'm in some deep trouble. I tried flashing the fastboot 6.12.173 file and the flash failed (using RSDLite). What's even worse, is my phone is now stuck in the AP Fastboot. Here is what the screen says:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)
0A.6C
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down.
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
Battery OK
OK to program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
I tried pressing the power button but the screen would just turn off, the phone doesn't reboot.
If anyone has any idea how to undo this I would greatly appreciate the help! The battery was around 90%.

You need to replace the XML in the 173 fast boot zip. Then run RSD lite. Also make sure your drivers are up yo date .

I got ICS on my Razr Maxx Monday. The install went great and I was up and running without any problems. However, yesterday after I went back to .173 with Matt's 1.50 utility I am no longer able to get 4G. I've checked all the usual settings and can't get seem to figure out how to get the 4G back. Any ideas? I have already contacted Verizon and they couldn't figure it out either so they're sending out a replacement but I'm still curious what happened. Any ideas???
First off, once you decide to modify your device you are taking on full responsibilities. You broke it and you should fix it. How do you no you're phone is broken, under settings/about phone what does it say under baseband?

The fact that I am here asking about it should clue you into the fact that I want to fix it.
