OK.... I'm stuck in a bootloop on 173. Tried wiping data/cache in recovery. No good. Webtop and system img method are not working from AP fastboot. I don't think it is recognizing my phone. I'm SOL at this point. I don't know what to do. :(

How do you flash the "webtop"?

You need to download the 173 FB files. Then put your phone in AP fastboot mode. If you have the Razr1 zip downloaded put the 173 system img in there and the grfs.
Open up a cmd window type>> cd destop
>>>cd razr1
>>> moto-fastboot.exe flash webtop grfs.img
this will flash in 12 parts
Then flash the system.img
>>>moto-fastboot.exe flash system system.img
This will flash in 4 parts, then type
>>>moto-fastboot.exe reboot

DONE :)

Thanks guys! I'm no longer bricked, but I do have a different issue now.
Once I got it up and running, it found the 6.11.748 update, but when I tried to download it, I got the following error message:

Not enough space on the device to store the incoming file.

I didnt even install any apps yet.

You need to download the full 173 file and run the XML FILE in RSD Lite

Always wipe after running RSD. It don't matter if it boots or not, you always wipe.

I'm having trouble flashing the entire xml file in rsd lite. It keeps failing around step 5 / 22.

--REAL FIX FOR FASTBOOT "OEM" COMMAND ISSUE--
If you have received the error "Failed Flashing Process. Failed Flashing process. Unknown fastboot command. (oem); phone connected." while trying to use RSDlite then here is
the fix for you.

The xml file includes some extra lines that are different from the orginal fastboot files. Deleting the two "OEM" lines will make the xml file complete the whole process of
flashing the .173 fastboot.

If you want I can upload just the xml file and you have to add the file to the fastboot folder.
---
Lines to be deleted:
"<step operation="oem" var="fb_mode_set"/>"
&
"<step operation="oem" var="fb_mode_clear"/>"
Worked like a charm.
---
I did comfirm this does work as I was having this issue. Instead of getting upset...get even.
Download "OEM_FIX" Here :

Ok so heres the deal..this worked flawlessly for my Razr..not so much for a buddy of mine.Im fairly new to the scene but I'm extremely well versed in following directions so any help is appreciated. Now RSD will fail again and again on his device at random steps(highest we got was step 6)..anyway.after the fail if he reboots it goes into Fastboot Mode to a screen with this on it:

AP Flashboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)

Now using the Command Prompt I have gotten his device to boot back to 6.11.744 nd it will not show the AP Flashboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure) screen on boot anymore ant when I try to do OTA it fails. Now my question is if anybody here can help get his device back to Stock .744 or .173

Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

The easiest way is to use mattlgroff's utility.. follow dirctions and I would say that you should use the 1.40 version.

That is because you are on a 744 system with a 173 kernel, radio etc. You have to wipe and run RSD lite for 744 then after it boots or boot loops wipe again then you van take the updates. Or you can flash just the system image from 173 if you where on 173 before the problem happened. Or run the 173 RSD XML, but as the post a few back says delete the two lines in the XML so it will run properly.

Yes 100% stock.. The utility (the 1.40 version) will wipe everything for you. So when finished you will have stock .173..

Or if you want to use RSDlite refer to my post about editing the xml file...
