I tried to use rsd lite and the flash fails halfway through....then i have to try to boot normally 2 times before it lets me into the phone to use it again. Cannot figure it out, tried rsdlite and the command prompt method. Now rsdlite won't even recognize that the phone is connected evn thought the computer does. windows 7 64 bit, i downloaded latest drivers. Any ideas?

Were you on ICS prior?

Let me start off by saying that I have been doing Flashing and ROMs for a few years now from the OG, DX, GS1, DX2, RAZR, GS3 and I was a noob and rushed trying to restore my RAZR back to stock and ran it through the RAZR Utility 1.6 trying to put it back to Gingbread stock, then I was going to do an OTA to ICS. Welp I messed that one up...

Is there a way to unbrick if I am on ICS and the only thing that happens when I have power to it says the following:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
0A.6C
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down

Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0

Battery Low
Cannot Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

I have tried charging overnight twice, but the screen stays on and will not go off and displays the above message while charging?
I have tried hooking it into the computer and running RAZR Utility 1.7 option 2 and 1 with no luck, it starts the process and says that the Battery is OK and fails immediately saying FAILED: Battery low.

I think I have genuinely bricked my phone, any advice or direction would help.
Also, if this is not the right forum or I should start a new one please advise Thank you!

You need to buy a factory cable or make one. There are also threads in here with "possible" workarounds.

What if all you've done is delete some bloatware and now can't upgrade? Should I use this also?

Yes. It will help but you could use Matts RAZR Utility. Probably a lot simpler.

This topic is outdated . the concept is still the same. You need to find Ics fastboot files and run them in RSDlight or extract the system.img and push it using ADB. This will restore your system, including all bloat and png's to its original state , without losing data.

Using Matt's utility puts you on .211 correct? Also if you don't choose root it will be unrooted right? Are you able to get an OTA update to .215?

Thanks

Utility takes you to 211. You will be unrooted because your system image will be reflashed. You will need to root after you restore. 215 is not an official OTA, it is a leak. So if you want to run on 215, you need to protect root and sideload it, or sideload it and then root 215 with Matt's utility.

Hi All,
I have an XT910 and I bought it just yesterday. I followed the eternity project and downloaded the 2.3.6 Asian Fastboot Retail ROM and ran it on my phone. It got bricked. Initially it came with a Korean version of Android but I didn't think this will cause such a problem. Now it's not even charging and I can't do anything with it. Please please please help me with this. I bought a used one at more than what I should have paid and this happened.
