He built separate utilities pre 1.7 for getting unstuck, but he included unstuck in 1.7.

Thanks Matt! Easy as the rest of your leaks! I first flashed with little utility for the kernel. I then temp unrooted with Voodoo, then flashed .214 in recovery. After boot used backup with Voodoo to root. All worked like a charm.

OK......need some help here.

I installed the .214 via the cmd prompt but I can't go into recovery after AP Fastboot. When I try it just to an open heart android with a red triangle...... Any help please.

Try pushing both volume buttons at the same time....

+1... This is normal to prevent just anyone from using recovery. They hide it ;-)

So, I used Matt's utility to flash the new .214 kernel without a hitch on my rooted razr.... I'm running a custom ROM with safestrap installed and in safe mode...... My question is...After the update to .214 kernel,...could I still toggle back to unsafe side of safestrap and be ok with the untouched stock .211 ics on my first system?...And any nandroid I made on ics before the kernel change in safe mode?...............................I'm thinking I should be ok...just thought I'd be safe and ask...thanks

Thanks yet again, Matt! You've really made this HTC-->Moto transition much easier for me. To anyone who hasn't tried this yet, I used the utility (second download in OP) while running Eclipse and it went off without a hitch. It quite literally took only seconds to get the updated kernel!

Just updated. Works great. Only problem is that when I try to re install Safestrap through the Safestrap 2.00 ICS apk it always closes.

It's that time again folks... leaked updates! (Yay~!)

This time I got a special treat. I did not want to leave my comfortable place with safestrap installed and booted on Arctic Rom on 211 to fastboot the 6.12.181 files, re-upgrade to 211 stock, upgrade to 214 just to see a small difference in the kernel.

I thought you could not fastboot to 6.12.181 from .211??

You can't, it fakes the system to think that its on .181 and allows the flashing of .211

Thank you. So the .181 fastboot in Matt's 1.6 utility will trick it into thinking it's 181, or will that flat out brick it? Or is it in the 1.7 utility? I apoligize if these are stupid questions. I seem to overlook the obvious sometimes. Just want to know what my "start from scratch" option is now.
