Just letting you know since you wanted updated. After running the interactiveX governor, using noop for the I/O Scheduler, and NOT USING MY PHONE FOR ANYTHING. I managed to squeeze 8 hours of life out of my phone.
Thanks for the feedback SPC. Your phone only lasted for 8 hours not using it? Omg... Feel for ya man...It all started with .211 and .214? Maybe ya gotta go back to stock and get a warranty return - might be your phone?

Maybe your battery is going bad.

Yeah I'm really thinking the battery is fried, this phone definitely should have lasted for more than 9 hours without even touching it, except for more than about 4 minutes total. When I did use the phone for facebook, it was right after unplugging it. Shortly after that I watched 20% tick away in 45 minutes. Still going to do a few more tests on it before I consider taking it to Verizon but like I said, I'll be surprised to see anything good come from these tests.

I ran CPU Spy and even it is saying that 90% of the time my phone was on, it ran at 300mHz lol. Clocked all the way down, still draining battery life somehow. I'll try out the hotplugX governor but considering what I've already tried, I'll be surprised if I see good results lol. This is driving me insane.
Hicks, does the CPU Spy indicate any time in Deep Sleep state? I'm on OG Razr, Arctic .214, with .214 kernel. 84% life left after 4 hours. And I do use it. Exchange and gmail in full sync (push for exchange), granted, I run it on 3G (trying that out). When I look in CPU Spy, I get 55% at 300mHz, 2% at 1200, and 41% in "Deep Sleep". And I don't use any custom governor settings. If your phone never enters Deep Sleep, that may be an issue...

According to the app it was in deep sleep for 1:54:41, during the 6 hours that it was plugged in and charging overnight.

I TOOK THE PLUNGE! optimizing apps 52 of 102
It's not really a plunge considering you can go back to the .211 in about 3 seconds

Installed a few days ago Battery is still an issue in my Max.... over the weekend 41+ hours with very lite use..... Back to work today with about 30 texts and 2 phone calls at about 10 minutes each and 45 minutes of GPS I am drained to 50% at 5+ hours on battery.....so something is up ......help

There are known battery issues with the upgrades to ICS. The only way to clear them up easily is to do a factory wipe. I'm a heavy user on a standard non-maxx razr and about a 50% drain after ~5 hours.

Hey Matt, great work. How does someone get involved in deploying and testing Droid leaks? How do come across the initial leaks?
Legitimately? You go work for Motorola. You can also sign up for the Motorola Feedback Network in their own forums.
