Using this kernel with the interactiveX governor = WIN

Interactive or InteractiveX?

If InteractiveX, how did you get that governor?

Been running InteractiveX since yesterday I think. I've noticed a dramatic improvement in battery life. Just got home 20 minutes ago and flashed the new kernel, so we'll see how it goes.

Wanted to thank Matt for his awesome work since it literally took 1 minute to do it.

Here is what I am at after being on the phone for 2 hours sent a bunch of texts and g+ (lots of commenting on the fruits actions) and still good to go. On .211 I would have been down to 20% by now. If say a improvement

I am running .214. Only mod is root. I've frozen the verizon bloatware that I don't use.

I got really good battery life on GB and now I'm getting pretty decent battery on Full Throttle AOKP with the InteractiveX governor. I wish I had a Maxx, but I had to charge my Droid X every 4 hours if I used it hard. This phone is way better.

I'm looking for a maxx myself. I just hate that I paid $300 for this phone an 20 days later the maxx dropped an so did the og razr price. Since I actually went in an upgraded a week early while I had the $ it really ticked me off that no one would say there was a better version about to come out....

I had seen it mentioned on google but everything was speculation an most said it was only going to be a better screen which wasn't important to me since I don't do a lot of video/movie watching on the phone....

Not sure what went wrong, but this bricked my phone. I have typically been able to unbrick by either RSD or Matt tools, but this was the mother of all bricks. Somehow updated my kernal but not all the other pieces. This kept it from being able to go back to any other rom. Luckily all Motorolas are under 1 year warranty and they only came out in November of 2011. SO Verizon already shipped me a new one.

All I can say is wow! My phone is much faster, quadrant scores at 2900+. And the battery life is great! This has been the first time ever that i have made it all day (8am-midnight) without charging!

Did you know that cell phone repair shop is offering a maxx conversion kit for a little over $100? They have been on backorder, but I'm gonna grab one as soon as i can. They will even install it for you if you don't feel comfortable doing it. All original Moto parts.

Can you tell me how yours turned out? I haven't been able to determine that it has improved mine any. I've been getting 34 hrs with both Arctic 214 and SimplexRom on Razr Maxx with 214 kernel. Thanks.

Flashing the kernel independently of everything else is actually fine. Only changes to the bootloader itself are highly risky. The 'unstuck' method should have gotten you back on track if that was the only issue.

I'll let you know later once my phone is through charging and the battery dies. Shouldn't take too long since I'm on a regular Razr

I was a little nervous on this since the last leaked update I did was GB to my old X, but it all worked out well and I am now on 214 on stock non rooted Maxx. Thanks Matt for all the info and the update. :)

Ya I had one on order but canceled since a coworker said he would sell me his maxx cause he wants a SIII. The day I canceled the order he grenades the trans in his car so now he's not sure when he will be ready to sell it...:(
