@Pappasmurf: Just put the .214 on your sd card and use MotoRecovery. Its goes really quick, but you may have to re-root with the 1.7 utility for 4.0.4...
So I just remove Safestrap and boot into stock recovery and flash the .214? Sounds simple enough. Then I can try out arctic

Are you 100% sure you're looking at Kernel Version and not Build Date?

Over 9 hours on this and still at 80%. Much better than .211!

Its hard to beleive to have over 9 hours and still at 80%. Unless you not using it and running on 3G and wifi. Or the 9 hours is after an 8 hour nap........lol

no you do not lose root using the utility. You will lose root if you install the zip.So is this weird? Used Matt's .214 utility and flashed in AP mode. It worked, AND I am still rooted. I just thought I would have to re root.

- 382 texts (combined sent and received)
- 17 emails (combined sent and received)
- a little Facebook lookin'
- a little Twitter lookin'
- Navigation 3 times
- browser for a bit
- Updated one app through Play Store
- 11 phone calls total
- K-9 mail is configured for unrestricted push
- Maildroid (work email) configured for unrestricted push
- Weather widget (30 minute refresh interval)
- Facebook account (30 minute refresh interval) (push unrestricted)
- Twitter account (30 minute refresh interval) (push unrestricted)
A little over 13 hours later with all the above I am sitting at 40% remaining. I would have to say that the battery on .214 is a hell of a lot better than on .211. I do see others posting 19 hours with 60% remaining and such, but I also notice they are not doing anything on the phone either. Most of the people getting ridiculous numbers are laying the phone down without touching it for 15 or 16 hours. I laid mine down in Panama City Beach on 2.3.6 GB and got 35 hours, but I didn't touch it for 35 hours. I use my phone about this much every single day of the week (excluding weekend) and .214 seems to be holding better.
