Seems like good stuff to me. Don't know about any battery improvement, but then again, it wasn't an issue for me.
Thanks much, Matt!

I installed 24 hours ago at 80%, and I still have 50% left. My phone did sleep for about 10 hours overnight. Still, this is much better than .211 for me.What are our testers saying today on their second charge? Battery life words of wisdom? I know Matt is getting good life. Has it improved for others as well? I had to revert, as I'm going on a trip and couldn't take the chance that it would stay as-is on first boot (awful) for me. Interested to hear...

No phone is water resistant lol They can make them as strong as they want but if you get it wet enough it's done

I knew it wasn't water-proof, but I remember the reviews when the phone was released claiming the phone's electronic components being coated with some kind of water resistant coating. No phone is water resistant lol They can make them as strong as they want but if you get it wet enough it's done

And water resistant does not mean water proof.
Yes. I know. I guess I took the OP's "Razr got wet" comment too literally, and it's more than just wet. Hopefully the rice procedure works.

At least go with a Maxx this time... Good luck with the rice, I've seen it work before but you need to leave it in the rice for around 24 hours...

You should see the .zip file, not the individual files. You didn't unzip it onto your SD card did you? Another thing I'm not sure about is should you be rooted or not rooted to run the recovery?hi guys, I'm running stock 211 on a rooted razr. When I boot into stock recovery I highlight the update file and when I press the power button it opens and shows me the files inside how can I get it to install the update. I'm sure I missing something silly.

Battery (or the reading anyway) was very awesome with Arctic 211. It did not misbehave when I flashed the 1% mod. Like you, I'm just thinking out loud here. In no fashion am I blaming Arctic 214. I'll experiment with DualCore for a few more hours and see.
Thanks Matt for all you do.
Well, I rolled back to 211 last night, then put Arctic 214 back on. Battery life is back to great, phone doesn't run hot any more.
I'm going to flash 214 image with Arctic 214 already installed shortly, we'll see if this kernel behaves this time.
